Sag-TensionCalculation
Sag and Tension is calculated by the following formula
T1=wS2/8D
w=(wc2+ww2)
where, D: Sag at mid-span (Initial: No current) (m)
w: Weight of wire with wind(kg/m)
wc:Weight of wire (kg/m)
ww:Load from wind(kg/m)ww=Fxdx10-3

Conductor Size
Permissive Tension (kgf)
(FYI: 50% of the tension)

F: wind pressure per m2 (F=(v/4)^2)

v: velocity ( Max. 25m/s)
d: Diameter of wire(mm)
S: Span (m)
T1: Tension at mid-span (Kg) velocity 25m/s
T1: Tension at mid-span (Kg) velocity 0m/s
Variance of sag after changing temperature is calculated by the following formula
D2=(12(3/8)1
L1=S8D12/(3S)
where, : coefficient of linear expansion (1/degC)
t1: initial temperature (degC)
t2: temperature after changing (degC)
t: variance of temperature t2-t1 (degC)
L1:wire length at t1 degC (m)
D1:sag at t1 degC (m)
D2:sag at t2 degC (m)

T2:Tension at mid span at t2 degC(Kg) (*Note 1)

(Note 1): If the velocity is 25m/s, the conductor temp does not reach
150degC. Generally the velocity is applied for v=0 in caluculation
