developeda6,100dwtdualfuelledchemicaltankernamedMTSARGONONwhichistheworlds
firstnewbuiltLNGfueledtanker.ClassedbyLloydsRegister,itsailsondualfuel,80%LNG&
20%diesel.
Besidesbeinganenvironmentalfriendlyfuel,LNGisalsocheaperthandiesel,whichhelpsthe
shiptosavesignificantamountofmoneyovertime.Furthermore,LNGpoweredescorttughas
beendevelopedbyBBwithLNGenginesupportofRollesRoycemarine.Iftheseindicationsare

buckypaperis1/10ththeweightofsteelbutpotentially500timesstrongerinstrengthand2times
harderthandiamondwhenitssheetsarecompiledtoformacomposite.Thevesselbuiltfromthis
lightermaterialwouldrequirelessfuel,henceincreasingenergyefficiency.Itiscorrosionresistant

andflameretardantwhichcouldpreventfireonships.Aresearchhasalreadybeeninitiatedforthe
