PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) consists of several commercial applications which
cater to the needs of Nippon Express and hundreds of clients of Nippon Express, notable
among them include: Sprint, Philips Healthcare, HP, Seagate, Adidas, Nokia, Resmed,
Affymetrix, Nikon and many others. Nippon Express manages the complete end to end
warehouse management for its customers effectively through its complex and integrated suite
of applications which are efficient, robust and tailor-made or customized to suit the individual
customers. Nippon Express customers use the warehouses of Nippon Express to store their
goods and ship them to various customers across the globe.
The 3 Major WMS Systems are Exceed (3.5 and 3.6), PkMS & GWS. The functionality
mentioned in points 1- 3 is available in all the 3 systems. There are also a lot of bolt on
applications like SLAP 1.0, slap 3000, CMC, Loftware, connectship etc. These bolt-on
applications are used enhance the functionality the major WMS applications. Crystal reports
are used as a part of this Bolt on Applications to provide the reporting solutions and Software
is used to print the labels that are stuck to the package/ cartons.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Creating table with Database Constraints.


Performed unit test for the code, which I have developed.

Product designed for the field users i.e. Medical representatives of pharmaceutical
companies. It is the flagship product of the company. This has been used by almost all-top
Pharmaceutical companies of the world. This product holds the total information about the
mrps, employees and the products.
