ADMISSIONS TO FIRST YEAR OF TWO YEAR FULL TIME POST GRADUATE COURSES IN
MANAGEMENT VIZ. MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-2016

MBA/MMS-CET 2015 NOTIFICATION I

Online Applications are invited for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 for admission to First Year of Two Year Full
Time Post Graduate Degree Courses in MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in the Government, University
Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.
Eligibility Criteria for appearing to MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015
The candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA ( 45% in case of candidates of backward
class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelors degree
awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other
educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under
Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association
of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of
India. (Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET)
Notes:
1. The admission to the management courses viz. MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM is centralized and covered under
Centralized Admission Process (CAP) carried out by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.
2. The admission to the PGDM courses will be carried out by the Competent Authority. The details about the
institutions offering PGDM courses & participating in CAP will be notified before the start of the filling of Option form.
3. Candidates who have appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ CMAT
2015 (Conducted by AICTE)/MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2015)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/
ATMA (conducted by AIMS)/ MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 are considered to be eligible for admission against
the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Such candidates are also required to fill &
confirm online Application form as per the schedule.
4. Information Brochure will be made available online soon for detailed Eligibility criteria, Type of candidature and steps in
the entire process of admission including Document Verification, Centralized Admission Process etc., for securing
admission against the Maharashtra seats, All India seats, Minority seats, Institute level seats and procedure of admission
for NRI/ Foreign National / Foreign Students / PIO / Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries.
Instructions for Registration for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 by candidate:

MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 shall be conducted only in the ONLINE mode in multiple sessions.
Competent Authority, using standardized equi-percentile method, will be equating scores across sessions.
Aspiring candidates should note that, the tests are not disclosed to anybody else other than the candidates
only during the examination. The test papers are also not shared with anybody even after the examination.
The CET comprises multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability and Reading
Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical / Abstract Reasoning. In all there would be 200
questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes).
It is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to Register & Confirm the Online Application Form for MAHMBA/MMS-CET 2015 at http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba2015.
Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid at any Axis Bank Branches in cash through e
Challan as per schedule during the working hours of the respective Branches. The candidate can also do
online payment of the fees by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card payment gateway for which the
service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No
other mode of payment shall be permitted.
For Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS),
J & K Migrant candidates and NRI/Foreign Nationals / PIO/Children of Indian Workers
in the Gulf Countries Candidates
For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C),
NT(D), OBC, SBC] and & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra
State only.

The Centralized Admission Process will consist of total three rounds, out of which first two rounds shall be
based on computerized allotment and third round by counseling. Candidates are instructed to carefully
read the Annexure-I of the Information Brochure to understand the eligibility criteria for participating in
each round.
7. NRI candidates are eligible to apply for admission against Institute level seats in Private Unaided
Management Institutes. Please refer information Brochure for details.
8. Applications sent by Post/Courier etc., to ARCs/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this
regard will be made.
9. It should be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at this stage. Candidates are advised to
keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification stage as per the notified schedule.
10. The candidates belonging to SC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC and SBC categories
should produce Caste Validity Certificate issued by Scrutiny Committee of Social Welfare
Department and the Candidate belonging to ST category should submit Tribe Validity Certificate
issued by Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Department and valid Non Creamy Layer certificate except SC,
ST candidates at the time of verification of documents.
