ORACLE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE MOBILE FOR IPAD:

A mobile analytics app that allows you to view, analyze and act on Oracle
Business Intelligence 11g content
Using Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile, you can view, analyze and act on
all your analyses, dashboards, scorecards, reports, alerts and notifications on
the go
Oracle BIM allows you to drill down on reports, apply prompt filters to filter
your data, view interactive formats on geo-spatial visualizations, view and
interact with Dashboards, KPIs and Scorecards
You can save your analyses and Dashboards for offline viewing, and refresh
them when online again; thus providing always-available access to the data
you need

INSTALLATION INFORMATION:

Requires iOS 6.0 or later

Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for

INSTALL/CONFIGURE CISCO ANYCONNECT VPN:

Download the app from the app store by searching for cisco anyconnect (Version
3.0.09266 is latest):

Open the app and create a new vpn connection:

START THE CISCO ANYCONNECT VPN CONNECTION:

Enter Username and Password credentials

AUTHENTICATE TO THE ENVIRONMENT USING ADSWEB:

Access adsweb.oracle.com (enter SSO credentials if prompted), click on the

environment to access, and then select Launch Environment from the launchpad

ON TABLET DEVICES TO EXTEND BUSINESS USER PARTICIPATION
Oracle Hyperion Planning now allows business users to perform common planning,
budgeting and forecasting tasks from iPad and Android tablets.
The new capability delivers a fully-functional browser based experience for all
commonly used Oracle Hyperion Planning features, including accessing task lists,
approving budgets, viewing reports, entering data and running planning scenarios.
It helps improve user productivity by enabling users to prepare, submit and report
on plans, budgets and forecasts from any location with a simple, tablet-optimized
user experience.

FINANCIAL REPORTING MOBILE

Users can view, launch, and interact with Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting reports from
mobile devices. For a list of supported mobile platforms, refer to the Oracle Enterprise
Performance Management System Certification Matrix.
AFTER USERS ACCESS THE REPOSITORY, THEY CAN:

Select and display reports and books.

Work with reports and books, including responding to prompts and using expansions.

WHEN USING FINANCIAL REPORTING ON A MOBILE DEVICE, BE AWARE OF

THE FOLLOWING DIFFERENCES BETWEEN USING FINANCIAL REPORTING ON
A MOBILE DEVICE AND USING IT ON OTHER PLATFORMS:

A menu of report interactions is available at the top of reports that offers the following
interactions:
o HTML Preview
o Refresh
o PDF Preview
o Preview User Point of View
A PDF preview of a report only displays the page area that is currently visible within the mobile
device screen. To scroll to another page or down within the same page, tap the Launch Out link
at the top left of the screen. The report is then displayed in a separate browser tab that allows full
interaction with all pages of the PDF report.
To launch a report or book in PDF Preview on a mobile device, tap the PDF icon next to the
report or book name in the repository list.
POV and prompts are displayed on separate browser tabs.
For devices like iPad and Android tablets, the folder and object list is displayed in one pane when
a report or book is open, and the open report or book is displayed in another. However, for
devices like iPhones and Android phones, when a report or book is opened, the report or book
contents replace the folder and object list on the screen. Use the phone navigation buttons to
move between the open report or book and the repository list.
When accessing Financial Reporting from a mobile device, users cannot author reports, create
books or batches, schedule batches, or edit Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance
Management Workspace user preferences.
Exporting a report to Microsoft Office is not supported for mobile devices.

HOW IT WORKS

STEPS

Follow links to install software on your computer

Make sure you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network

From your iPad, select your AirPlay menu

iOS 7 swipe up from bottom and select icon

iOS 6 double tap home button and swipe left, select icon

Select your computer from the list of available targets

Your iPad will now be projected on the computer screen

iPhones can be projected in the same manner, and can be projected

concurrently with an iPad
