The Unseen Video
(Source: “h

The Unseeen Video is m much more than a normal, static music vvideo. It is a vvideo that is aaffected by thhe
weather aand local time e from the poosition of the viewer.
“We wantt to create neew synergies b between the mmusic, the vid
deo and the ssurroundings of the viewerr.
Every littlee change in yyour environmment ensures tthat you will never see thee same video twice. The loo ok of
the video might slightlyy change with but will have a whole new character in a few monthss.”

My Observation:
Before starting to play the music video o:
the website actually startts to load thee information that I
w is what it co
am at. Below omes out:
They actually managed to track down the location that I’m in, and play the same song with the
visualization that suits Singapore.
However, a 3Ghz CPU and a fast machine is required to work.
Not a user friendly website to surf at present.
In future, this speed problem will be resolved.
Being in a country like Singapore, the weather is quite consistent, so I assume that the unseen video
might play the same video every time. Not much of a surprised element in it. The idea is still interesting.
I mean, who can think of having music to react with weather?

Nintendo Wii
Experience the game while playing it – that’s probably the tag line for wii.
The new generation of game plays, the wii provide a real time experience for the gamers. With the
Nintendo Wi‐Fi Connection, It can excess the internet to play online with others, check mail. I’ve watch
a youtube video about having the wii acted like the overall switches in an intelligent house. Controlling
the electricity usages, dimming and brightening the lights, playing the music etc. I like the idea of having
to get out of the sofa to have a game of virtual tennis. Stand up and swing the remote, speed and
movement control by the player. I myself am not very good at pressing buttons on the remote, by
capturing the movement that I am doing and convert to the game; I find it a rather realistic way to play
games.
However, many types of wii controllers and
devices are required. I read about gamers
complaining about the unfriendliness that wii
has caused. Like when a player is so
engrossed in the game that he swung too
hard, and the wii controller broke the
television screen.

The idea of real time interactivity game is
cool. And letting wii takes control of the
house, guess that this will be the future of
games play.

i phone
(Source “http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/index.html#internet”)
“iPhone features rich HTML email and Safari — the most advanced web browser ever on a portable
device. iPhone automatically syncs bookmarks from your Mac or PC. For convenient searching, Google
and Yahoo! are built right in. And iPhone multitasks, so you can make a phone call while emailing a
photo or surfing the web over a Wi‐Fi connection.”
Apple Technology blow my mind again. The
iPhone. The Multi Touch function is what I
found cool about. A cell phone that responds
to your touch and it gives instance feedback.
With its super slim built, and zen design, I
voted the iPhone will be the future of cell
phones. Accessing the iPod functions made the
iPhone like a 2 in 1 functions. As I phone is still
rare in the market, simple tasks like changing
the battery had to go to the head quarters.
Users complaining about the difficulty to
operate the sms function.
I find the usability of the iPhone can still be
improved. The touch screen function of the
iPhone technology and the instance response
to the user deserved a thumb up. But what
happen to the camera functions of iPhone? I
hypothesize that the new model will include
the camera and video capture functions in it.
Lets wait…
