It is necessary to judge a planet by the lord of constellation and sub when you can
have the correct results. (Krishnamurti Padhdhati, Vol. 2, 1966, Sagar Publications, p 314)
This short article is to show how the significance at the sub level can support the event to happen
based on ten marriage cases of AA charts, as per courtesy of the AstroDatabank and
www.astro.com, as given under.

Importance of constellation
in the delineation of birth charts

The horoscope of a person or a birth chart prepared at the time of birth or commencement of
an event is used to predict the future .The planets in the chart show the characteristics and
activities of the person involved, in accordance to the planets ownership, deposition and aspects etc.
Professor K.S.Krishnamurthi had studied both eastern and western astrological systems and
observed that the native or the owner of the horoscope experienced results which are no way
connected to the signification of the planet to the rasi or bhava of the horoscope. This caused
the Guruji to go on research on the offering of results by a planet by his signification in the
birth chart.
It is found that a planet offers the results of the house occupied by the lord of the star wherein
this planet is deposited. Again trouble arose when more than one planets are found in the
same constellation, though referring the same matters, yet a few planets are beneficial and a
few unbeneficial. This caused him to further carry on research and every constellation is divided into 9 unequal subs having the areas in a constellation in the proportion in which they
are allotted the numbers of years in Vimshottari maha dasa system.
Accordingly a planet offer the results signified by the star lord, where he is deposited during
his dasa or sub dasa period. These results will be good or bad to the native according to the
signification of the sub position occupied by that planet This is the cream of the infallible
KRISHNAMURTHI PADDHATHI propounded by our Guruji, Sothida Manan, Jeotish Marthand
Professor K.S. Krishnamurthi..
In the attached bhava chart (Male, 18 Apr 1948, 12:05 pm, Galle, Sri Lanka, 06:02 N, 80:30
E), the lagna bhava is occupied by Saturn, Moon and Mars. All these three planets are deposited in the constellation of Mercury. This Mercury is a significator of 9 by occupation, 3 and 12
bhavas by lordship.
This Saturn was in the sub of Moon signifying 1 by occupation and lordship. The Moon is in the
sub of Rahu signifying 10 by occupation and 11,4 by it's star lord Venus. Mars was in a sub of
Jupiter signifying 6 by occupation and 6,9 by lordship.
In the natives Moon dasa, as the lagna lord occupying lagna should give satisfactory results.
But due to the conjunction with Saturn as lord of 8 and 9 he will have sudden gains, loss of
career and foreign travels etc. Moon is also in conjunction with Mars, lord of 5 and 10 would
help the man to obtain a better position in the employment and society, to gain children and
enjoy with music and art.
But the native was not fortunate to enjoy such results during Moon, Mars and Saturn dasa or
sub periods.
As indicated by the star lord, in one of his Mars sub dasa periods, he was transferred away
from his native place to a remote area. He had to face all types of difficulties, unnecessary expenses and endless travelling due to the sub lord Jupiter who is a significator of 6,9, in combination of 9, 3 and 12 signification by the star lord Mercury.
In a Moon dasa period, he had to leave his home and stay away. But he could obtain a promotion and a vehicle as the sub lord is Rahu signifying 11, 10 and 4.
In a Mars dasa period, he was working away from home with lot of difficulties and uncomforts
as the sub lord of Mars is signifying 1, 3, 5, 9 and 12 , in combination of the star lord Mercury.
But he was facing the difficulties with a steady mood as Mars was a significator of lagna.
Accordingly, it is clear that the planet itself is not offering the results signified by him according to occupation, ownership etc; But the star lord controls everything in the dasa period of
the planet. The sub lord decides the benefit or loss.

(CNN) -- Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi made a brief television appearance early Tuesday to announce that he was still in charge, denying reports that he had fled the country in the face of a
spreading revolt.
Speaking to a state television reporter in front of his Tripoli home, Gadhafi said he wanted to show
people "that I am in Tripoli, not in Venezuela. Don't believe those dogs in the media."

Here I am presenting an old prediction of Roberto Saviano case from my personal archive.
Background
Saviano was born in Naples on September 22, 1979. His father was catholic while his mother was
Jewish. As a journalist, he collaborates with LEspresso and La reblublica, and other magazines,
and can be found in various anthologies such as Best Off. Il meglio delle riviste letterarie italiane
(2005), and Napoli comincia a Scampia (2005).
In 2006, following the success of the non-fiction Gomorrah, which denounces the activities of the
Camorra, Saviano received ominous threats. These have been confirmed by the collaborators for
justice and reports that have revealed attempts on Savianos life, by the Casalesi clan. Investigators have claimed the Camorra selected Casalesi clan boss Giuseppe Setola to kill Saviano over
the book, although the alleged hit never occurred.
After the Neapolitan Police investigations the Italian Minister for Interior Affairs Giuliano Amato
assigned a personal body guard and transferred him from Naples. In autumn 2008, the informant
Carmine Schiavone, cousin of the imprisoned Casalesi clan boss Francesco Schiavone revealed to
the authorities that the clan had planned to eliminate Saviano and his police escort by Christmas
on the motorway between Rome and Naples with a bomb. In the same period, Saviano announced
his will to leave Italy, in order to stop having to live as a convict and reclaim his life.
On 20 October 2008, six Nobel Prize-awarded authors and intellectuals published an article in
which they say that they side with Saviano against Camorra, and they think that Camorra is not
just a problem of security and public order, but also a democratic one. They also think that the
Italian government must protect his life, and help Saviano in having a normal life. Signatures are
collected on the site of the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

It has been very interesting to note as to how to appraise the line of education through Astrology.
Astrology is a tool available to mankind to read the future.
A friend of mine brought the natal chart of his daughter couple of weeks back and was showing
me the chart for general readings. Among various other points, while evaluating the horoscope
chart, I could see the line of education shall be of commerce.

For education the normal practice is to see the connection of cuspal sub lord of 04 (education in
general) and 09 (higher education) to 11th house.
In this chart, 04th and 09th cuspal sub lord is Rahu. Nodes, either Rahu or Ketu, shall provide the
result of (a) planet conjoined with (b) planet aspected by (c) lord of the star in which it is posited
and (d) finally, the sign in which it is posited.
Rahu is conjoined with Jupiter, who signifies 09 and 11th house. Rahu is posited in the star of Mercury and sub of Venus. Mercury signifies 11th house. Hence higher education is promised for the
native.
At the time of college education, the girl was running Jupiter Dasha, Mercury Bhukti and subsequently Ketu Bhukti.
Jupiter and Mercury are as discussed above. Ketu is posited in Virgo and so represents Mercury. It
is further under aspect of Jupiter. Hence the dasa period does not stop the native from studying.
Mercury generally gives commerce. Mercury is posited in Rahu star, while Rahu itself represents
Jupiter. Jupiter signifies finance while Mercury signifies accounting.
Looking at the significations of cuspal sub lords and the Dasa-Bhukti lords, I asked the natives
father as to whether the girl has done B.Com, to which her father replied positively.

Query: The famous H.S. Judge Dental College Chandigarh of Panjab University was in the headlines of newspapers during the last full week. The incident involved the allegations by a female
intern against the Director /Principal of the above said institute. The matter was politicized by
various student unions up to the extent of hunger strike.
On 7.2.2011 my wife, who is a permanent employee of this institution, was anxiously keen to
know about the outcome of PU syndicate members decision regarding fate of the Director/ Principal.
Answer: I asked her for a number between 1-2193 for the above said case whether he will be able
to retain his position and she gave me no. 2192 for this. I erected the horoscope by following the
Indian meridian (82 Deg.30Mnt) at 5.30 AM basis as the answer is about Yes or No. Therefore, I applied Dr. Kars TSP described by Shri Kanak Bosmia in the KPE-zine June 2007 issue, and
undoubtedly replied her that he would be moved from his present position, as per the following
special rules:
If Moon is in the star of Saturn and the Moon is aspected by Saturn itself, the result becomes Negative i.e. NO. If Sat-Moon are conjoined but connected with the Sun by way of conjunction, star or aspect, the result comes in a delayed way.

check the same rule with some more charts of assassinated persons.
Hint:
Rule for Assassination:

The horoscope of the native is also appended for reference.
Some relatives of the gentleman approached me on 3rd May 2010 and asked me to find out
when the native will land on a job and permanently stick to it, as he was unemployed at that time.
Readers may wonder why this man is searching for job at the age of 57. It is not as though he
was out of employment till this age.
I was informed that he had been in various jobs from his youth but was not keen on continuing in
any job for quite a long time. It seemed to be his habit to join a job
and quit the same as and when he desired without thinking seriously of the
consequences.
This 'rolling stone' attitude of this person appeared to be strange and not easily understandable.
However, as astrologers we also realise that the horoscope, which is the life-map of the individual
will definitely bear a clue to this sort of behaviour.
It is usual for me to verify the correctness of the birth time and decide whether it needs any correction. In the instant case, the Ascendant sub-lord is Saturn. Saturn is in the star of Mars and
Mars happens to be the star-lord of Moon. This connection between the Ascendant sub-lord and
the Moon star-lord indicates the given time to be fairly correct and therefore I proceeded further
with my analysis.
It is worth briefly recapitulating the KP rules relating to employment matters at this juncture to
get
a clear picture of the case under review.

The significations of the Dasa rulers will broadly indicate the overall happenings in the life of the
individual.
If we closely observe the list of significators in the horoscope, it may be seen that Jupiter signifies
1,3,5,9,8,12. Likewise Saturn signifies 1,5,7,8,10,11. It was told to me that during this period he
had frequently changed his jobs about five or six times and had faced great hardships financially.
It was also brought to my attention that during these periods he was out of job, he tried to enter
into business and failed miserably there also. This could be during the sub-periods of Mercury and
Venus which apart from others signify 7 also which stands for business.
The current Dasa is that of Mercury, which signifies 3,7,9,12,3 and 6, indicating change of job as
well as change in place of work.
A close analysis of the signification of the planets brings to light one important feature, namely
that all the planets (except Kethu) have links with 5 and /or 9, which is an adverse situation with
regard to job/employment. It is therefore, evident that the tendency to change over to jobs periodically is a destined in-built aspect of the horoscope and therefore it is not fair to lay the blame
entirely on the native.
My friend contacted me when the gentleman was running the dasa period of Mercury-Kethu.
Readers may readily agree that this is an appropriate period for getting a job.

Question 1: Fortuna Calculation in Horary Chart

In 1978 Nov issue of A & A, page 10, Fortuna in a horary chart with a KP number is calculated
from the "natal or time" Lagna, not from " horary" Lagna. But KPAstro 3.5 calculates Fortuna
in a horary chart from the horary number" Lagna. Which one is correct? Please make it
clear.
Answer 1
1. In the horary chart with a KP horary number, since the house occupied by Fortuna itself
and the houses occupied and owned by the planets are counted from the horary Lagna, it is
more reasonable to calculate Fortuna from the " horary number" Lagna, like in the A&A Sept
1976 p 26, Jan 1978 pp 32 & 34, Jun 1980 p 1, Dec 1980 p 30 and May 1981 p 13, by the KP
formula below. It doesn't make sense to calculate Fortuna from the "natal or time" Lagna at
the time of judgment, like in the A & A Nov 1978 p 10, Jun 1979 p 3 and Apr-Jun 1987 p 36.
Fortuna = Moon + Lagna - Sun (in longitude) (KP Reader I, p 98)
2. In the application of Fortuna in the horary chart with a number, it is better to check
whether Fortuna is appropriately calculated from the "horary number" Lagna by the software
used, as Fortuna is found calculated from the "natal or time" Lagna in some current horary
charts, for instance in the KP & Astrology Year Book 2011.
Question 2: Marriage signification
While reading the excellent book "Nakshatra Chintamani" by Chandrakant R Bhatt, at
page 29 it is written:
" ... Venus is the chief governor of marriage. It is in the star of Jupiter and in the sub Saturn
owning 2. The star lord Jupiter aspects the 7th cusp, Moon owning 7, Mercury in 7 and Rahu
in 2. So Venus is a strong significator of marriage. .."
But in the chart we find that Venus is not the significator of any of 2 or 7 or 11 .
But Venus is the significator of 6 by its placement in 6.
Additionally Saturn (the sub lord of Venus) strongly signifies 6.
This is also against the event of marriage as it is written at page 25, point (c):
"(c) In short if the sub lord is the significator of 1, 6 or 10, it is detrimental to the matters of
2, 7 and 11 ..."
I am totally confused with these contradictory explanations.
It would be great help in my learning if these confusions would logically be cleared.
Answer 2
In the example birth horoscope no. 1, page 1 of Nakshatra Chintamani, Male, 7-7-1912, 8-42
pm IST, 23N2, 72E35, Ayanamsa 22-32,
1. Dasa lord Venus is in house 6, lord of houses 5,10, in the star of Jupiter in 10, l/o 3,12 and
in the sub of Saturn in 4, l/o 1,2.
(Here it is to consider all three steps of planet, star and sub level according to the KP fundamental rule: The planet is the source, constellation indicates nature of the result and
the sub is a deciding factor whether the matter is favourable or not., and here to stop
at the 3rd step of sub level, and not to go further to the 4th step, i.e. star lord of sub.
Signification of 2 for marriage is found only by taking into consideration of sub level, which is
stronger than the planet and star levels. Consistent consideration of all these three levels or
three steps like in the books of Chandrakant R Bhatt and Umang Taneja would be practically
helpful to make the correct prediction.)

2. To support the marriage signification above, the KP grade E significator by aspect is also
taken into consideration as the last resort, i.e. star lord Jupiter aspects the 7th cusp, Moon
owning 7, Mercury in 7 and Rahu in 2. And karaka Venus as Dasa lord is also in support of signification of marriage. (Venus alone as karaka itself without marriage signification can't be
helpful for marriage.)
3. In combination of 1 & 2 above, it is considered that Venus is a strong significator
of marriage in spite of some negative significations to marriage.
Question 3:
I'd like to know ..
Suppose I ask you one question & give you one number " X " for Horary. Answer
is affirmative for that matter.
Now (1) If you cast Horary chart for same no. " X " more than one time on
different days / time should you get same answer ?
(2) If I give you three different nos. " X / Y / Z " for same question on different
days and you cast chart for those nos. on different days / time,
then answer will be same?
Or (3) We should ask question only once with one no. only to get right answer?
(4) If mother asks question about her daughter's marriage with one number
and answer is given (may be yes or no).
Now after few weeks daughter her self gives one no. for her marriage, is it
okay to analyze? Should answer be same?
Please explain this and oblige.
Answer 3:
In our experience the answer may not be the same on different days / time. We should ask
question only once with one no. only with strong urge to get the right answer, otherwise it
may look like fooling ourselves until we get the desired answer.

Book Review: KP & Astrology 2011

In this 2011 KP Year Book, there are 38 articles by 37 authors covering the topics as shown in the
contents. According to the following KP fundamental rule, it has been reviewed how many article
contributors consider the three steps i.e. planet, star and up to SUB level.
"Planet is the source, constellation indicates nature of the result and the SUB is a deciding factor whether the matter is favourable or not."
In 6 articles it is found not considered up to the SUB level as the articles are not generally relevant to do so. In other 4 articles the authors are found not considering the SUB although it seems
relevant to do so. To make sure the common practice of those four authors, their articles in the
previous 2009 and 2010 KP Year Books have been checked and 3 of them are found considering
the SUB as relevant. And the article for the fourth one is not found as he is not a regular article
contributor. Thus almost all KP astrologers, article contributors in this 2011 KP Year Book, have
been found considering the SUB whenever it is relevant.
Some findings noted from the articles are delay due to Punarphoo, the power of the sub lord in
the way of delineating the final results, taking Virgo sign as dual although not so as per the original KP, orb theory of gaining the significance of the next house, significance of no planet in the
stars of a planet, effect of retrogression, Neptune in disease analysis, 4 step primary significators
etc.
