I am a nobody Lord and yet You lift me up on high

You put me in a pedestal when I am nothing

nothing in everysense ..
who am I Lord that you make me so special
My flesh and blood ? my mind and heart ?
my intelligence or my wealth ?
theres nothing Lord that I had or have that makes me this special
I can be spiteful, hateful, full of revenge
jealous, greedy, never fulfilled.
I always need more more more
And yet you think I am your favourite child
Why Lord .. Why .. I ask every day ..
I am not worth your time
You have much better things to do than with an ungrateful spiteful person of me
I need you Lord but sometimes I am afraid to say I need you
coz You are Lord, Almighty God, The God who made the heavens and earth
, the moon and the stars, the air that we breathe , You control the sea,
You control the winds, You made mankind, You made the presidents and nations
and yet You Love me the most? How can that be ?
Sometimes my shame catches up to me God and I stumble in my prayers
i am ashamed to ask You for things I need , ashamed to ask You for help
And yet You love me Lord and yet you bless me with the things I need and much mo

Why Lord .. Why .. I am a nobody with nothing to give
Why do You make me your favourite child
Why do You give me everything even when I dont know what I need
Why do You guide me into those paths where I am always blessed.
I am afraid I will ruin your paths with my ways Lord, I am not worthy.
And yet You always bless me.
When I sit down, when I drive home, When I see the beautiful sky or a beautiful
thing, my mind always asks
Why do You love me so much Lord
Why do You talk to me so intimately Lord ..
me Lord .. remember its me ..
of all the people in this entire world ..
you speak to me so closely Lord..
its me Lord .. I want it to be me .. I really want it to be me ..
but with the way I am ..Lord I dont know if i will ever be worthy ..
Father please forgive me ..
Please do not cast me away for who I am ..
Please continue to love me for who You are Lord
And then you talk to me ..
in your special way ..
through your church ,
through dreams,
through prayers,
through visions only I am privy to ..
I dont know how ..
through Your ever encompassing love ,
through the miracles
I am thankful to you O Father for never letting me or my family go
For loving us so much
I realize you love me so much O father coz you are my father ..
nothing separates Your love for me ..
not even my sin ..
You sent Your son as the sacrificial lamb so that we can be close ..

Like a prodigal son I come lord ..

your arms surround me with an everlasting grace ..
Your sacrifice was worth the joy in heaven ..
I am speechless Lord..
By your grace , I can find my peace , my hope, my life , my love in your arms ..
I know nothing can ever separate your Love for me ..
not my sin .. not my greed.. not my self ..
Its not about who I am Lord .. Its about your Love for me inspite of who I am ..
I am blessed Lord.. I am thankful Lord .. for everything ..
for your great sacrifice to help me be loved
Help me to always remember this O father
