1. Motivation is the feeling that engines the desire to do something.
Motivation is the impulse, the trigger of changes in the world, bad or good changes. Motivation comes from heart and it is different for each human being. Motivation comes from needs, pleasures, convictions or wishes.
2. If Students do not want to learn anything, they simply do not do it.
Motivation is relevant in teaching practice because teachers have to break that boundry between doing something as an obligation and doing something as a desire. Every activity that teachers design for students has to be motivating for them, through interesting topics in which students can feel comfortable and at ease developing them.
3. There are some motivational strategies that teachers should apply in
order to get a successful lesson: Goals in learning process should be clear and specific, teacher should explain very carefully all lesson contents. Also, goals should be measurable in order to be easily evaluated; Goals should be challenging but not too demanding for each learning level. Goals have to be considered in short and long term to be developed and teachers have to provide the corresponding feedback in order to help students to complete their goals successfully.
