PHOTOGRAPHY

MUSIC

Today we'll be walking through the concept of exposure,

right from the beginning. This ar cle won't befuddle you
with complicated numbers and jargon, but it will help you
feel more condent with your photography and understand
a core concept that's a vital piece of the photography jigsaw.

The crea on, performance, signicance, and even the

deni on of music vary according to culture and social
context. Music ranges from strictly organized composi ons
(and their recrea on in performance), through
improvisa onal music to aleatoric forms. Music can be
divided into genres and subgenres, although the dividing
lines and rela onships between music genres are o en
subtle, some mes open to personal interpreta on, and
occasionally controversial. Within the arts, music may be
classied as a performing art, a ne art, and auditory art. It
may also be divided among art music and folk music.
