MESSAGE FROM FR BOSCO "Although I am not fully recovered, I am getting there slowly. I
didn't expect it to be a bed of roses! Thanks to your Prayers, Mass cards and good wishes
everything seems to be going well apart from the expected mishaps along the way. It was very
comforting knowing that I was in your thoughts and prayers. You might like to use the following
short prayer for anyone in your family or among your friends who is ill and also for all the sick of
your parish. "Father in heaven, grant comfort in their suffering. When they are afraid, give them
courage, when anxious grant them patience, when low in spirit, offer them hope and when alone,
assure them of the support of your holy people. When, hopefully, I am fully recovered I will offer
Mass for your intentions later in the year.
CONGRATULATIONS to the following who were Baptised on Easter Saturday and Easter
Sunday : Jacob Kimanese Moseley, Elsa Kevwe Itobore and Finley Murphy. Also to Eamonn
Dudley John Gibbons who was Baptised on Saturday, 18th April. Please pray for their parents,
grandparents and their Godparents.

ST PETERS LONDON RUN SANDWICH MAKERS Anne Ashby writes : It is with regret, and
after a great deal of thought, I have to advise you that as of Monday, 4th May I will no longer be
involved with the Monday Morning London Run Sandwiches, my last Monday being 27th April. I
have not made this decision lightly; after being involved for over 20 years in preparation and
ordering of the food supplies and maintaining the finances for the Run, I have reached an age
and level of health that cannot deal with this role any more. I have enjoyed my time with the Run
and am proud to have been involved for so long in such a worthwhile charitable venture, but
must now call it a day. I would appreciate if someone could contact me to discuss handing over
the necessary paperwork and monies. Telephone 01628 665248 or mobile 07808 297550.
