Stabilities

FELOSAN NKB has a good stability in usual concentrations to acids,

alkalis, metal salts as well as oxidation agents, reduction agents and
hardening agents of the water.
FELOSAN NKB is also compatible with non ionic, anionic and cationic
products.
The product is not sensitive to frost.

Properties
Due to its composition, FELOSAN NKB has remarkable emulsifying properties for oil and fat stains, high wetting
properties and a very good washing as well as cleaning power. FELOSAN NKB is suitable for discontinuous as
well as continuous pretreatment processes. It can be applied on all types of fibres.
FELOSAN NKB is low-foaming and can thus be used on washing machines and discontinuous dyeing machines
with high turbulences.
It is suitable for the application on automatic dosing units where chemicals and textile auxiliaries are transported
one after the other from one pipeline and rinsed in-between with water.

Application technique
Diluting instructions
FELOSAN NKB can be diluted with cold water (up to 30 C) in any ratio. Due to its composition, the product
maintains its low viscosity in all mixing ratios and has no gelling phase.

Application fields
As FELOSAN NKB has an outstanding emulsifying capacity and high washing power as well as good wetting
properties, it is excellently suitable for application on discontinuous and continuous washing and bleaching
processes.
Preferred application fields for FELOSAN NKB are high-speed discontinuous Jet machines and continuous
washing machines with high incoming speeds where the liquor circulates through nozzles and disturbing foam
formation using conventional detergent recipes may evolve.

Application proposal
The application amounts of FELOSAN NKB depend on the application field and the degree of soiling on the
textile.
Normally, the application amounts in long liquors are between 0.5 and 2.0 % and between 1.0 and 2.0 g/l in
continuous washing and bleaching processes.

Desizing

Due to the fact that FELOSAN NKB is compatible with enzymatic desizing agents (bacteria products and
pancreas amylases), it is suitable for application in enzymatic desizing processes as wetting agent and to
emulsify size fats. Moreover, FELOSAN NKB can be applied for the removal of synthetic sizing agents.

Peroxide Bleach

FELOSAN NKB can also be successfully applied in bleaching processes. We recommend the following

3.0 - 10.0 g/l FELOSAN NKB
