Responsiblefor:
AssisttheSiteManagerinensuringthatallsiteactivitiesandsubcontractorsare
managedtothecontractprogrammeefficientlyandontimewithoutaccident,ill
health,damageandwithminimalenvironmentalimpact.
Ensurethatthesiteismaintainedinasafeconditionthroughoutthecontractand
coordinateonsiteactivities.
AsSiteForemanyoudutieswillinclude(butnotlimitedto)
*Assistinsitesetuptoensurethatallthenecessaryhealthandsafetysigns,site
signage,noticesetc.areclearlydisplayedandthatallemergencyexitroutesare
clearlyidentified,keptclearandthatfireappliancesareeasilyaccessible.Establisha
signinginpoint.
*Beawareofthesitefilesandtheircontentsandtheprogrammeofworks.
*Overseesubcontractorsandsitefixers/labour,checkingqualityofwork,permits
areinplaceandgoodhousekeepingpractices
*WorkwithSiteManagertoensuresnagfreehandover
*Checkdeliveriesagainstdeliverynotesandadvisesuppliers/sitemanagerofany
discrepancies
*IntheabsenceoftheSiteManager,liaisewithContractmanagers,Centre
Management(asappropriate)andClientstoensurethatallworkisundertakenina
safemanner.
*Whenrequested,attendprecontract,onsiteandothermeetingsasrequiredby
companyortheClient.
*Ensurethatstatutorylicences/informationandsitespecificlicenceseg.
hoardings/scaffoldingareclearlydisplayedandacopykeptonthesitefile.
*Ensurethatarecordiskeptofallpersonsenteringandleavingthesite
*Maintainahighlevelofprofessionalismwhendealingwithclients,customers,
membersofthepublic,enforcingauthorities(HSE/Fire/Police),CentreManagement
etc.andunderstandthevaluesofCustomerCare.

forthefirsttimeinaccordancewithProcedure006SiteSafety
*Ensurethat,whilstonsite,safetyboots/shoesarewornatalltimesbysite
operatives,contractorsandvisitorsandpromoteapositiveattitudetowardshealth
andsafety
*EnsurethatallotherPPEiswornwhereidentifiedandthatallsitepersonneluseit
inaccordancewithmanufacturer'srecommendations.
*Wherenecessary,IssuePPEtovisitorsensuringitissignedforandreturned.
*Refuseadmittancetositeofanysiteoperativesorpersonnelnotwearingthe
requiredPPEforthesiteoractivitybeingundertaken.
*Ensurethatallplant,equipmentandtoolsusedonsitearemaintainedinasafe
conditionandthatperiodicchecksarecarriedoutandrecorded.
*Effectivelymanage,whilstonsite,contractorsandsubcontractorsactivities
reportinganynonconformanceorunsafeworkingpractices.
*Ensurethatallsafetyequipment,firstaidfacilities,fireappliancesetc.areeasily
accessibleandmaintainedandthatallfireexitroutesetc.areclearlyidentifiedand
keptclear.
*Ensurethatadequatewelfarefacilitiesmaintained
*Betrainedasacertifiedfirstaiderandmaintainthecontentsofthefirstaidboxes.
*Maintainanycompanyvehicleinasafe,cleanandroadworthyconditionanddrive
withinthelegalrequirements/speedlimitsetc.atalltimes.Completethevehiclelog
bookonaweeklybasisandreportdefectsimmediately.
OtherDuties:
*Cooperatewithmanagementonallaspectsofhealthandsafetyandassistin
assessingworkplacerisks
*Followallpolicy,procedures,rules,safeworkingmethodsetc.atalltimes
*Undertakeanytrainingasisnecessarytoensureyouremaincompetenttocarry
outyourallocatedtasks
*Notoperatemachinery,plantorequipmentforwhichyouhavenotreceivedthe
requiredtrainingfor.
*Reportanyincident,accident,dangerousoccurrenceand/orpropertydamageto
yourlinemanager.
*Notmisuseanyitemofequipmentthathasbeenprovidedtoprotectyouor
others.
*Takereasonablecareofyourselfandthosewhomaybeaffectedbyyouractsor
omissions
