Scope of the Position

The Intern would be responsible for researching on the prospect of future projects. This position is subject to analyze the
demographics and culture with respect to the vision and mission of the organization. S/he would also be responsible for
collection of data i.e. surveys etc. and for doing analysis of the current projects of dreamfly.

Summary of Key Functions

1.

Keep an eye on the changing social and political dynamics of the world.

2.

Analyze different cultures and daily life demographics for the prospects of future projects.

3.

Perform descriptive and multivariate statistical analyses of data.

4.

Create and carry out surveys when required in order to assess feasibility of projects in line.

5.

Maintain and organize a database to keep track of the statistical results of the surveys as well as the projects
progress.

6.

Give suggestions for future projects after the analysis of data, aligned with the vision and mission of organization.

7.

Research on the key elements and dynamics of current projects of the organization in order to make them more
feasible.

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills

Undergrad Economics or Mathematics student from an accredited college/university.
Preferably Sophomore/Junior year.
Reasonable experience in data collection and analysis.
Able to do descriptive and statistical analysis.
A keen interest in daily affairs.
Strong interest in conducting the surveys.
Drawing reliable inferences from an analysis.
Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and with little supervision as well as
paying significant attention to detail and maintaining a flexible approach to work.

Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of a very young and fast-growing organization.

Back in 2007, dreamfly was founded by Umaimah Mendhro to encourage the children of her village to dare to dream; to globally
connect with those who share the same dreams as theirs and to become considerate citizens. dreamfly started with its mission in
Pakistan by building a primary school in a village Akri, situated in Sindhs coastal district Golarchi. Since that time, dreamfly has
expanded its projects to several other countries, such as India, Afghanistan, Rwanda and Colombia, thereby embarking on a global
mission of connecting the societies in conflict and empowering them.
