Devotions – Lance Lindgren
Psalms 46 Come & see the works of the Lord
Story of Lee Trevino He grew up in an impoverished neighborhood.
He played golf while in the Army. He bet on the games he played and
made money. There were times that he bet more money on a game
than he actually had. When he played in professional golf, he made a
shot that earned him 200,000 dollars. When asked if he felt a lot of
pressure in making the shot he said, “I don’t feel pressure when I’m
playing for someone else’s money.”
Worry/Anxiety We may have worry when we’re trying to please people
Be Still and Know I’m God Whatever troubles us God has a
solution. God had a solution for Joshua, Mary at the wedding – ran out
of wine, Disciples & feeding the multitude, God took care of it.
God is in control of our lives. Proof: Resurrection God will use our
mistakes to His glory. If we must worry remember the Jesus died for us
and loves us.
