EPLAN Electric P8
Export of labeling of an EPLAN Electric P8 Project to M-Print PRO.
Requirements
It is required to have both M-Print PRO and EPLAN installed
First you have to create a folder named eplan_p8 in the M-Print Pro directory and copy
the following seven files into it:
Menu_Call_MPrintProExportLabel.cs
MPrintP8.exe
WI-Cable.xml
WI-CableCore.xml
WI-Equipment.xml
WI-SPS.xml
WI-Terminal.xml
Presettings
You have to set a few thing in EPLAN Electric P8 before you can export to M-Print.
Click on the button with the three dots (marked in red in the picture).

The import window closes and all information from the XML file is imported.
Redo this to import all XML files which are found in the folder.

Click ok again.

The window Choose script file closes. The menu service program has a new menu
item Export Weidmller M-Print Pro.
Export to M-Print PRO
To export marking information from a EPLAN Electric P8 project to M-Print PRO please
do the follwoing

Choose the labeling information you want to export. In our example we only choose
terminal marking.
Choose a folder where you want to save the data. Confirm with save.

The window save as closes. M-Print PRO will be started automatically and the choosen
labeling information will be imported in M-Print PRO.
In case you get the message The needed marking type isnt available click OK.
Please choose the marker type you need and confirm with choose product
The window product catalogue closes. You will now see a preview of the marking on
your chosen marker.

Open the reference file MPrintP8.csv from the folder eplan_p8 in the M-Print PRO
installation directory with excel of an editor (e.g. notepad).

Attention:
The article number used in the file needs to be assigned in Eplan P8 with the
same name or article number, otherwise it cant be found.
The file MPrintP8.csv which is installed with the interface is only an example file
which needs to be customized.
