CONCRETE INSERT 355

Steel Insert Plate
Size Range: Maximum 7/8 rod size

Surface Finish: Electro-zinc plated, Black
Structural attachment in all grades of concrete
Knockout keeps interior empty during pour
Allows for horizontal rod adjustment up to 1-1/4
Installation: Place knockout side down on concrete form
and nail in place. Wire 12 piece of #4 reinforcing rod on
both sides. After concrete pour, knockout can be removed
with a screwdriver.
Use with Model #355N Insert Nut (for UL Listing) or Models:
#Nut, #SPRA, #SPRC strut nuts. Rod should be threaded
through the nut until it tightens against the top of the insert
Conforms with Federal Specification WW-H-171 (Type 19),
Manufacturers Standardization Society ANSI/MSS-SP-58
(Type 18); install in accordance with ANSI/MSS-SP-69

deck-poured concrete ceiling where adjustment for
concrete thickness is needed
Threaded rod supplied with an EG finish
NOTE: Maximum load ratings are dependent on many factors,
which include, but are not limited to: type of concrete, depth of
slab, location of anchor in slab, and depth of anchor in slab.
Consult a professional engineer regarding anchor positioning.
