Responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring & control; cost control, change management & document
control. Maintain perfect coordination with the project team & all internal/external parties to freeze the technical
parameters/ work scope to iron out any ambiguities; carrying out work measurements and providing technical
validation for jobs. Supervise & monitor the overall project performance on regular basis & taking steps for
further improvements with a view to complete project within stipulated time frame & prescribed costs.
Projects & Accomplishments:
Proposals for Ammonia, Ethylene and other petrochemical plants: Led proposal team on domestic and Middle
East proposals for grass-root and revamp projects (TIC $100 to $300 MM).
Jazan IGCC, Residual Oil Gasification and Power Generation Plant, Aramco, Saudi Arabia: Managed engineering
and procurement services during FEED for several units of the complex, and detailed engineering for
seawater cooling project.
TLNG, LNG Production and Export Facility, Trunkline/BG, Lake Charles, LA (TIC $11B): Assisted the project in
pre-FEED by consolidating engineering standards and specifications, and coordinating services to inspect
existing equipment to determine if fit for service.
Sonangol, 200,000 BPD Refinery, Lobito, Angola (TIC $13 B): Provided a FEED package for the whole refinery
and follow-on EPCm for the initial topping phase for a 200,000 bpd full conversion refinery to process high
TAN Angolan crude oil into diesel, gasoline, and LPG products for domestic, African, and world export market.
SADARA, Saudi Aramco / Dow, Petrochemical Facility, Jubail, Saudi Arabia (TIC $20 B): Managed FEED for
Utilities, Power, Offsites and Logistics portion of the petrochemical plant, one of the largest facility producing

and EPC services for a Non-road Diesel Hydrotreater program for two ExxonMobil locations.
Natural Gas Pipeline Compressor Stations, El Paso Corporation, New Jersey locations (TIC $100 MM): detail
engineering and equipment/material requisitions for six stations using solar turbines and compressors, and
Caterpillar reciprocating gas engines and compressors.
NCP Complex, CP Chem, Jubail, Saudi Arabia (TIC $800 MM): Developed Process Design Packages (PDP) and
LSTK EPC bid packages for the Polyethylene, Polypropylene and Polystyrene plants of the complex.
BP Projects Enterprise, BP, Texas City, Texas (TIC various): Managed engineering and procurement using a
multi contractor alliance for execution of mid cap and small projects from Jacobs BP site office.

proposal and LSTK bid package for EPC
Sulfox Project, Total (Arkema), Beaumont, Texas: Preparation, bidding and award of construction subcontract

Propylene Glycol License Package, Lyondell Chemical, Channelview, Texas: Front-end engineering of an ARCO
Technology license package for a grassroots plant in Japan

start up planning with the construction partner The TIC. The plant used two GE 7FA gas turbines and an
Alstom steam turbine.
Capital Projects, Lyondell-Citgo Refinery, Pasadena, Texas: Engineering, procurement and project controls team
for multiple in-plant capital projects for complex refinery including: Crude Units, Delayed Coker, Hydrogen
Desulfurization Unit, FCCU, Aromatics Recovery Unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Utilities, and Tank Farm.
Heavy Crude Oil Upgrading Refinery, Sincor, Jose, Venezuela: Engineering, procurement and construction
services for the utilities and off sites portion of a grass roots synthetic crude project that also produces coke
and sulfur as by products.

As a Project Manager in the Phillips-Kellogg Alliance team, managed technical/commercial aspects to make a new
alpha olefins process commercially viable. Seconded to Maraven (PDVSA) as an Engineering Manager under a
PMC contract, monitored and managed the engineering scope, schedule, cost and product quality in the offsites
and utilities portion of a major expansion of the Cardon refinery.
Projects & Accomplishments:
Conducted Value Engineering exercises to bring the capital cost down by 20% for Phillips-Kellogg project.
Managed design engineering and interface with procurement and construction during EPC of two
polyethylene plants for Phillips Petroleum at Pasadena, TX after a major fire where meeting the business
schedule was the top priority.
