Enertronic Modular 3 Phase

Uninterruptible Power System (UPS)

Up to 60kVA of Secure
AC Power

Benning has applied over 70 years of accumulated knowledge and

experience in high reliability power electronics to come up with another world
class solution.
Introducing Enertronic Modular, high power density modular true three
phase inverter system for your mission critical telecom, datacenter, and other critical
AC power applications.
Traditional UPS systems operate as stand-alone systems without any
redundancy. System component faults can cause downtime of mission
critical loads with very costly consequences.
The Enertronic Modular UPS systems are based on parallel operating
hot-plug power modules. Each module represents a complete double
conversion UPS system with three phase 120/208VAC input and three
phase 120/208VAC output and integrated static by-pass. Maximum
availability is achieved by combining the parallel operating modules
with n+1 redundant design.
In comparison with a traditional fixed capacity UPS system with higher
initial upfront costs the advanced ENERTRONIC modular concept allows
the user to scale the installed output capacity in 10kVA steps and to
adapt the UPS system capacity to changing power requirements.
The cost of ownership is be reduced by eliminating yearly UPS service contract
due to the hot-plug modular nature of the system design. The system design
enables the UPS modules to be replaced in the event of a failure by simply unplugging the offending
module and replacing it with a new module by sliding a new module into the empty shelf. There is no
need for special tools or equipment. The module auto programs itself eliminating complicated setup
procedures.
To further enhance system availability, the module topology has been introduced whereby each inverter
module has its own Static Bypass Switch (SBS), eliminating the one large transfer switch of past
generations which can be a source of system failure. Secure data bus communications between modules
provides for a coordinated transfer to back-up AC in the unlikely event of system failure or overload.
Redundancy is determined dynamically, based on measurement of actual present load. A transfer to
back-up will take place when the system determines that its capacity has been exceeded either due to a
non-redundant module failure or due to excess load being added on the output.

Key Features
Hot swap 10kVA modules each with built-in SBS for the ultimate in scalability
N+1 redundancy ensures maximum availability
Employs DSP Technology for outstanding dynamic step load response and maintenance
of high quality, low distortion sine wave output into non-linear loads
Integrated Manual Bypass Switch
Front Door-mounted Graphical Display of Operating Mode & System Parameters
Remote Monitoring via Network (HTML/SNMP)
