EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Every organization requires adequate working capital for smooth running of
its activities. It serves as a link between production and sales. Indoco
Remedies Ltd., being a large pharmaceutical organisation has presence in
both domestic as well as global markets and consistently strives to expand
its business strategically and strenghthen its manufacturing facilities. Hence,
there is a need for proper management of working capital, so that day to day
operations are not hampered; at the same time the cost of raising funds is
kept under control.
This project is an attempt at analysing the various instruments and
processes used by the firm to finance its day-to-day activities.
