Professional Experience

Luckett & Farley, Louisville, KY 2006 to 2009


One of the largest architectural, engineering, and construction management firms in the
Commonwealth of Kentucky, with revenue in excess of $10 million annually, whose mission
is to provide sustainable design and master planning services for a variety of building
markets that include healthcare, churches, government, student housing, and commercial
building projects.

Senior Architect
Responsible for spatial design development, CADD construction documentation, and project
team coordination with various engineering and construction management personnel.
• Key team member in assisting various Design Principals in creating successful bidding
documents for a variety of building types. One type in particular dealt with renovating
192,000 square feet and adding a 24,000 square feet addition to the University of
Louisville’s School of Dentistry. This project was designed to meet LEED Silver
certification. My primary role on the project was in-depth code research and
specification development. This $44 million project was fast-tracked, completed on time,
and is now out for bid.

A midsize architectural and engineering firm whose mission is to provide design and master
planning services for facilities that include hospitals, schools, and municipal buildings.

Project Architect
Responsible for design development, CADD construction documentation and project team
coordination with various engineering consultants.
• Co-lead design team in creating a vertical expansion of an existing
three story healthcare facility to house a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on a new
fourth floor. Planned, developed, and delivered successful bidding documents for this
facility totaling more than 26,000 square feet at $6 million.

• Authored and developed contract documents for interior tenant improvements at Illinois
Masonic Medical Office Center, in Chicago, Illinois, at an aggregate of more than 7,000
square feet and construction costs at $500,000. Responsibilities included construction
administration duties.

educational facilities totaling more than 60,000 square feet at $4.7 million.
