introduction
by Rev. Frances Munro

My spirit guide has been my inspiration since 1999 and

not only has He directed me along a pathway of absolute growth, but He has also given me a need to share
the information and tools He brings.
My guide not only chose each character within this
deck of cards, He described each ones personality and
how they should be portrayed. Colors were also of the
greatest importance.
So, armed with such precious information, my husband
Michael and I needed to find the right artist. Spirit guides
quickly point you in the right direction when you listen
to their guidance and follow them, and very soon we
arranged a meeting with Peter Pracownik in Tintagel
(the seat of the legendary King Arthur and the Knights
of the Round Table in Cornwall, UK). With his inspiration and impeccable eye for detail we knew we had the
perfect painter for the cards. Peter is well known for his
knowledge and grasp of mythological and Earth spirits,
and he was inspired by the project. His dedicated work
brought alive each character and the magic began.
So I hope you too will be inspired by these very special cards. Woodland Wisdom Oracle Cards have been
created for you with the greatest love.

oracle cards
Woodland Wisdom deck is comprised of 29 cards; 24
green Working Wisdom Cards, of which three selected
cards will bring you the main meaning, and then five Gold
Power Cards from which one selected card will bring a
reinforcing of the power you have to move forward.
However, putting the use of the cards so simply denies
the full power and reasons for 29 cards in the set which
are then split, as explained above into the ratio24/5.
The reasons for this are both very specific and powerful
and were decided by my spirit guide at their creation. 29
cards was not a number selected by any random chance.
My guide had given me the following information
to share with you so that you can fully understand the
power of these cards.
By adding the two numbers 2 and 9 together you get
11which is both a powerful and magical number.
The most significant number of all is number 1, which
is powerful overall, and yet the number 11 is equally of
power as it brings a restorative magic to rebuilding and
directs power toward revitalization and change.
You can of course continue to add the numbers 1 and
1 together to make 2, which of course it does, but 11 also
holds the same numerological traits as the number 2, but

with much increased and enhanced levels of spirituality,

so the guidance is stronger and more vibrant.
The number 5 should be noted as a recurring and
extremely significant number in many religions, as in the
number of deities, books, leaders, apostles, and so on.
No matter what your beliefs, numbers provide powerful
energies for us to use.
Spiritual guidance has many channels, but most of it
comes through your own spirit. Always ensure that you
work with your feelings, because your logic can be in
conflict with what your soul tells you is right, and that
will impede your growth if you allow it.
By working with your feelings rather than your head,
you are developing the soundest way of following your
guidance. You may know this as working with your
instincts, intuition, gut feeling, or your heart, but dont
get confused by man-made labels for what is going on.
In working with spirit there can be many ways at times
to express the same thing.
These unique Woodland Wisdom Cards that you own
are therefore most valuable to you when you work from
your heart because the spirit teams are there to help you.
By choosing the cards you are opening an avenue for
contact. So relax and enjoy them to the fullest.
To make these cards personal to you, it is good to first
ask for a blessing on them. Although it is quite easy to
do and seems simple, it is very important that the cards
do not have a residue from previous readings.

Address the Infinite Source of Power and Wisdom in

whatever way is comfortable to you and then say:
I ask for a blessing on these cards that they may bring
me the understanding that I need, for the way forward to
be of power and wisdom to me. Thank you for that which
they bring.
If you invite friends to use your cards, then also allow
them to ask for a blessing on them in the same way. By
doing this each time they are used, you are empowering
them to bring an entirely personal message.
Always remember that you have free will and that the
outcome of your reading depends entirely on the actions
you take. God and the spirit team have the power to
bring you the greatest guidance, but without your cooperation and determination, change cannot happen. You
are the one who holds the controls.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

It is beneficial to sit down, relax, and feel at peace with

your day. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
Do this slowly, making sure that you breathe in and out
fully to relax your lungs and fill them right to the bottom.
Then, to place yourself in the most relaxed state before
making your choicestill with your eyes closedtry to
imagine a tap in the sole of your left foot. Turn it on and
then feel the stale energy start to drain from your body

into the Earth. At the same time the Earth is sending a

new golden glowing energy up into your right foot. This
energy will rise up through your right leg, into the right
side of your body. It rises like a fountain up the right
side filling your arm, neck, and head with this glowing
Earth energy. It now passes down into your left shoulder, left arm, and then down your left side into your left
leg, pushing all that stale energy out. Once you feel that
this energy had been throughout your body, then close
the tap in your left foot to keep it there.
It only takes a few minutes to do this exercise, but it
will clear the confusion within your aura and has now not
only refreshed your body, but it will also have worked on
relaxing you in preparation for your reading.
TO BEGIN YOUR READING:
1. Take the complete set of cards in your hand. If this is

the first time that you have used these cards then
slowly separate each card with your fingers, doing
so gently and lovingly. They have a unique energy
and the substance of your reading will be purer and
clearer if you fully connect with them at the start.

2. Separate the 5 Gold Power Cards. You will be using

these cards later, after you have chosen your Working Cards, so put them to one side, face down until
needed.

3. Focus on the reason you are asking for guidance. Take

the remaining 24 Working Cards, and then shuffle

them so that they are fully mixed after any previous
use and so you can freely pick the cards that are valuable to you. When you are ready, use your left hand
to place them face down upon the table. Spread them
slightly so that you can reach and see all of the cards
and will be able to select any one of them.

4. Use your LEFT hand to select a card. Select a card that

you are drawn to, and then take that card from the
pack and lay it face down on the table, away from
the other cards. Select another card, still using your
left hand, and place it face down to the right of the
original card you selected. Do this one more time
for the third card and place it to the right of the two
that are already on the table. All the cards should still
be face down.

5. Clear the remaining cards. (Except the Gold Power

Cards, which you will need later) and put them back
into the box. Returning to your chosen cards, the
first you chose represents your past concerns, what
has been troubling you, and how you have been
dealing with the all the issues. The second card will
bring you a clear understanding of what is going
on now, and the third card will reveal what you can

and should be doing in the future to bring your life

into the right place.
6. Be Warned! Sometimes we are tempted to search until

we find the answers we want to hear and we ignore

the messages that we need to hear. Picking more than
three cards will only confuse you rather than bring
clarity. Do not try and match the cards to where you
may particularly want to be. Your own personal
desires may not be where you actually need to be with
your life!

7. Understand your reading: The card on your left (the

first one you selected) is showing where you were in

your immediate past and your concerns leading to the
particular situation that affects you at the moment.
It may be a way of thinking, or a fear or confusion
that you need to understand. The second card indicates where you are now in your life. It also shows
or tells you some of the things that you can do now
to help yourself move forward. The final card is one
that will show you potential paths so that you realize
that your situation can change if you are prepared
to make it happen.

8. Pick the final card, your Power Card. Shuffle the five

Gold Power Cards and then spread them face down

on the table. Accepting the wisdom given to you by

the Working Cards, feel yourself guided to one of

these Power Cards and, using your left hand at all
times, separate it from the others and turn it over. It
is there to bring you greater awareness of the power
you have within and how you can develop more with
the understanding and knowledge that you have a
powerful team to help you. It is there to help your
attitude so that you are more positive about the need
to move on. This card reinforces the reading you
have just obtained from the other cards.
9. A Reversed Card. If one of the cards you pick is

upside down then it is emphasizing the message and

showing its importance to your situation. Pay careful
attention to what you are being told.

10. Two Cards Picked Together. If you pick up two cards

at the same time, keep them as they both apply to

your message. Then, continue to pick the other cards
you originally planned. On this occasion you will have
an extra card in your reading, but this additional
one is there for a particular purpose.

You now have your reading for your future. Let it

inspire you.

In the pages that follow, you will be able to read the full
description of the Woodland Wisdom from the various
woodland characters. In the first section are the 24 Working Wisdom Cards and the second contains the remaining
5 Gold Power Cards. Both sets are arranged alphabetically.
As you read the description of your chosen cards you
will find that your own guides will quite possibly come
in with an added message for you, or they may enhance
the message that you are reading. As with any spirit message, this can come in a variety of forms such as thoughts,
ideas, visions, dreams, feelings, or voices. Whatever way
you receive your message, it will be affirming that the
words given on the cards are correct and meaningful
for your future.
Always ensure that your mind is open, as a closed mind
can reject too easily anything that does not fit within
your comfort zone.
Remember that a car cannot move forward unless you
switch on the power and press the right pedals. Your life
is the same.

BUTTERFLY FAIRY

The Butterfly Fairy gives the butterflies a head start in

pollinating flowers. In the early part of the year they have
a lot of competition from wasps and bees. It is good for a butterfly to be woken early by a fairy as it gives it time to dry its
wings before it needs to feed. She will help as your life changes.
The Butterfly Fairy says, You are at a turning point
in your life. Allow yourself to wake up to the news that
God is with you as He is for all Fairy disciples. He will
help you move forward with a new zest for the life you
are living. Give it your all.
You are empowered to be a success. Let it happen. In
the past, you may have held back, but now is not the time
to do this. Therefore, it is imperative that you take forward
whatever energy is appropriate for your life. In the past
you may not have always seen the importance of moving
forward and what it could bring to your life. But now it
is necessary for you to take forward your worth to a new
level, where you will feel on a par with the world, and are
able to bring forward a whole new area of development.

CHICKADEE FAIRY

The Chickadee Fairy is kept very busy. She finds safe nesting places in among the small branches for the birds in her
care so that hawks cannot reach them. The nest is bound by
straw, hay, or whatever grasses are available to make it strong.
The Chickadee Fairy says, You are at a place now that
brings you pleasure and where you can relax and enjoy
life. But this does not always happen, so take your time
to enjoy the life God gives, and enjoy the blessings that
the fairies bring. Enhance your life with love and wisdom.
When you are at ease with yourself you can resonate
fully with what your heart is telling you. If it tells you to
move on, then you must listen, and fulfill that task that
allows you to grow fully. And then enjoy the wisdom
and power that that brings. For the time ahead is precious and you are at a crucial point of development if
you allow it to happen. Feel free to explore the way forward by opening your mind to the possibilities ahead.
CORN FAIRY

Both the male and the female Corn Fairies have a glowing appearance as they are golden-haired beauties. The Corn
Fairy is there to make each plant grow strong enough so that
it can withstand the wind and pouring rain. It also prevents
disease from spreading through a moldy crop. It works with
the wheat, corn, and rye crops.

The Corn Fairies say You are encouraged to take

delight in your life and all that it brings. For it is there
to bring you the joy of moving forward, and of knowing that you are someone who has the full potential to
do Gods will. Allow yourself to join with the other
fairies who gather together to help you. They are eager
and happy to do this. For you have been chosen to bring
about a better future that can help others.
Do your work well, and you will enjoy a glowing rapport with some of Gods tiny creatures, for they come
together with love to bring you the help you need. Call
on them to bring you joy and it will be a positive experience for everyone. Remember the fairies in your prayers
as they also need your help to do the will of God.
CORNFLOWER FAIRY

The Cornflower Fairy is a pretty fairy, dressed in a deep

cornflower-blue color with a crown of daisies. She is seen within
a clump of holly leaves as she listens to the insects hovering.
She works with the Holly Fairy, because as each insect seeks
out the cornflower, it is also tempted by the sweet-smelling holly.
The Cornflower Fairy says to you, When you feel the
urge to be generous in life, you do yourself good at the
same time, but this does not diminish your power in any
way. It enhances it. Know that anything good you do
will bring twice as much favor if you include someone

elses needs too. They will benefit too and this will be
very worthwhile to both them and you.
Apply yourself more favorably by giving your heart
to whatever projects you start. You are someone who
brings inner goodness and power to others, so you are
assured of growth when you do this. When we commit
to helping others to grow we free our minds to include
others needs. This brings us power as we help others.
But for the wisdom to be given we first need to feel
embraced by love, and that will be where the love of
God comes in.
DRAGONFLY FAIRY

Iridescent blue rays come from her skirt and her head is
adorned with a circle of bird feathers. The Dragonfly Fairy
resembles a dragonfly as she rests upon a red flower bud. She
protects the dragonfly from dying in the wind and heavy
rain by allowing it to rest between her encircled wings. She
has a light and glowing appearance.
Just as the Dragonfly Fairy protects the dragonfly, she
brings her wings around you to protect you from harm
and assures you, I am there with you when you are fearful of change, and yet at the same time, you feel deeply
that it is necessary to generate the wisdom that will give
your life a boost. She continues, I will help you to feel
the dynamism within you that will propel you forward.

You will feel a fairys breath upon your cheek. It will be

present as if to soothe away your troubles and prepare you
for the future. Remember that you are a very fortunate
being and that the dimension of what you hold within
you is enough for you to bring about many things. You
really can do this if you allow yourself to believe.
ELM TREE ELF

A mighty fellow adorned in vibrant green and yellow,

he has a pale grey cloak thrown over his shoulders, which
shields him from the rays of sun and allows him to retreat
into the forest unseen if he needs. He sings to the trees and
where the forest is bare and diseased he spreads elm leaves to
stimulate growth.
The Elm Tree Elf says, I am familiar to you as an elf
who brings goodness to your soul. For you are a powerful and worthwhile person who needs to recognize
your own talents and nurture them. Many souls are
aware of the desire to do good, but fail to see how to
bring it about. Believe in the way of the fairies and elves
so that you can restore your soul and awaken it to a
need to move on. Allow it to bring about good changes
in your life and do this soon. The way forward is a joyful path. Know in your heart that the dismal past has
now gone and instead there is great growth for you in
the future. Never doubt it for just as you are forthright

in your words so am I. Look for the gold of my wings

and they will help enchant your life.
FAIRY OF DAWN AWAKENING

She is a gentle loving being who attracts every stem of light

within the universe with her rousing song, which is heard at
the dawn of a new day and at the dawning of a new awareness in yourself. In her hair she wears the flowers that have
been brought from all corners of the Earth. Her smile perpetuates new life with sunshine.
The Fairy of Dawn Awakening says, There is a
need for you to move on in your life with a new dawn
awakening. You have been upset many times in the past
when you felt there was nothing there for you, and yet
there was. It is here and now that you can see that you
can take your life forward with a complete revelation
of power.
Do not waste your energies on anger, but instead
awaken to fulfill all the good in your life. You have a
bounteous future that can bring you a whole new force
of power and wisdom. It does not need to be a way
that inhibits you, but one instead that draws out your
ambitions and abilities. Prepare now to awaken your
spirit with the good news that you are ready to take
your life forward.

FAIRY OF EVENING DUSK

The beautiful Fairy of Evening Dusk brings a calm energy

to the close of day in order to regenerate for the coming of
a new day. She wears a silver gown of glimmering light that
emulates the moon. She lies on a bed of soft feathers brought
by all the birds in what is a joyful display of their love for her.
The Fairy of Evening Dusk says to you, To save
your spirit from upset I can bring love and joy to your
heart. So bring about the thought that you are a child
of God, and that it is through His love that we are
born. Shine out in the darkness of a dying day and live
within the love of all that abounds in the cheerful glow
of night.
Allow this to place you in a better frame of mind. Fill
your heart with a desire to move on so that you can advance
with the confidence of one who has taken it into her heart
to do so. You have the ability to do so much, but you do
not need to be wary about the way the path weaves. Allow
yourself the joy in knowing that you are cherished. For
you can only fail in your heart if you do not allow yourself
to move on fully. Allow it to happen and feel blessed.
FAIRY OF GOLDEN LIGHT

This beautiful fairy is called the Unicorns friend. Her

glowing hair of golden rays brings her a distinctive appearance. She was distressed for a long time when the Unicorn

died out, but eventually decided on a mission of bringing

a smile to anyone in the world needing help. They feel a childlike presence that enhances their day.
The Fairy of Golden Light says, If you are to bring
about change in your life, you have to first appease nature.
You have sought guidance, so it must bring you contentment to know that the Fairy Kingdom is there to bring
a grandeur and worth to your life as never before. Free
yourself from the tight bonds of past regrets and allow
faith to generate healing in your heart. Enjoy the journey for you are about to embark on a better way of living
that will bring you joy and fulfillment.
Begin soon, for you have an ability beyond many
people and you have been asked to use your prowess
and wisdom to guide your life forward and bring about
profound change. You have the authority to bring about
change that will encourage others to believe in you and
follow your example.
FAIRY OF THE WOODLAND REALMS

She is a younger member of the Fairy race who arrived when

there were meadows to tend and cultivate. This demanded a
dynamic fairy that would apply reason and be worthwhile
to her tasks. She took responsibility for the trees and hedges
that man used to divide up land, which upset many goblins
and dwarves.

The Fairy of the Woodland Realms says, You work

long and hard to achieve some things, but you forget
yourself and that is no good if you are to become a more
powerful person for the future. You need to bring about
some changes to your life, so that it brings happiness and
joy to your heart and enfolds you in the love given by God.
For His Will is such that it can bring happiness and joy to
all who feel His power within them. And let it be soon that
you feel this, for the way forward is of value to the greatest
degree. Allow yourself to grow and you will feel the happiness within you grow too, for you are a dynamic being.
FOXGLOVE FAIRY

The Foxglove Fairy has a way of bringing consolation and

contentment to all people. She can be seen draped in purple
and merging into a virtual sea of purple Foxgloves. She has
an abundance of joy in her heart and can help all people
to feel better if they are despondent or upset in any way.
The Foxglove Fairy says to you, There are many things
around you that you do not understand. But you will find
good fortune in all that you do, if you learn to trust in
the power and love given by God through the Foxglove
Fairy. Let it be soon that you do this, for the way forward
can only be accomplished if you are willing to bring
about change in your life. And the need now is to bring
about a greater dynamism within your life so that you can

follow your hearts desire and not always your head. You
are not always aware of the right way to do things, and
yet the answers are there for you to see. Allow yourself
to see what it is that your heart tells you is so.
GRASS FAIRY

Many animals rely on the Grass Fairy to nurture better

grass and grains for their feed. He works with a squad of
other fairies bringing sweet briar and elderflowers for the
ground to nourish the grass. In the winter he helps Wood
Elves and Tree Fairies to dust trees so that new growth will
be fresh and clean in the spring.
The Grass Fairy says, You are aware of a need to move
on in your life, but you dont know how. So feel the power
that is inside you waken your senses and stir your values.
Ask it Are you ready to bring forward my new power?
And then you will be able to feel the stirrings begin. It will
tell you clearly what you need to know.
Although you have self-awareness, you may be holding
back at times because of your indecision and that cannot
do you any good. Ask yourself Am I ready to move on?
and you will find that the answer is Yes. As you move
forward you will feel a great wisdom and power to do right
in your life. And that will do you good, for you will then
accumulate a power to do what is good within your life.

HOLLY FAIRY

This Fairy is a bounding light of lemon and white flying

amongst the branches of a holly bush, allowing each insect to
take only a little sticky nectar before shooing it off to another
plant. She works hard to find the insects necessary for pollinating. Some young playful insects are unable to concentrate
so the Holly Fairy is glad for the Cornflower Fairys help.
The Holly Fairy says to you, You know you should not
judge others, and yet you do at times because it is a human
quality that you cannot always let go of. But remember that
it is you who is judging yourself, as the time draws close for
change. So, you must allow yourself the freedom to evolve
and allow others to do so too. You will be unable to follow the way forward if you continue to dwell on the things
that have happened in the past. Focus on the path forward that is full of zest. You have joy in your heart when
you look inside for the answers that can compel you to
take your life forward if you allow it to.
LEPRECHAUN

About a foot tall, he is wily and irascible and he solves disputes among insects and animals. He used to enjoy a lot of
ale with the peasants, but God clipped his wings when he got
too boisterous. He has a gruff but twinkly expression and is
well meaning, working within Gods laws to bring goodness
to the world.

The Leprechaun says, To be a stupendously worthwhile person you have to embrace magic, which you have
not found in your life for a while. It is time to lift that
unwelcome weight, so that you can see that there is a
joyful way forward. Goodness alone cannot bring you
the joy of laughter and create warmth in your life. The
magic that God brings can actually give you an enhanced
life, and it can light your way for the future. Enjoy a laugh
and realize it will not harm you at all. For the ecstasy of
the moment is the magic of the day. That is a fact that
will bring you a new way of learning and can take you
forward with an eagerness to learn more.
LILY FAIRY

This is a wise and good fairy who cares for all water-bound
creatures, protecting the fish above all else. She is only visible
to them. She plays with the fish at times but also helps them to
find suitable places to lay their eggs. She is a happy fairy who
nurtures the ponds and streams with her singing.
The Lily Fairy says, There is an immediate way that you
can change your life for the better. It is a wonderful way
of learning to trust that will bring greater understanding
in your life. You will use it to the fullest as you merge your
life of work and play. You are an enchanting child of God
and are recognized as such, so let Him help you through
the day as He helps the fairies. Learning to trust just as the

fairy does can bring enchantment to your life. You have

a great and empowering time ahead if you allow yourself
to see and appreciate fully the need to trust.
OAK ELF

The Oak Elf is dressed in green with an oak-leaf collar.

He tends to the oak trees in many woodlands and meadows.
He is a very joyful fellow and he sings as he works because he
enjoys his work and his singing helps the trees.
The Oak Elf says, Not all people in the world are fair,
but if you trust with your heart you will find those who
share their goodness with you. You have enchanted power
for the needs of those around you, and like the Oak Elf,
you give your love to the task. Pursue a worthwhile life
that will give you a variety of people to help, not just one.
For there is a similar trait that leads all people to good.
You have an ability above many to secure a better way forward and to help those around you at the same time. You
are ready to combine all work areas to give the best possible lift to your life. You are an able person and must
now move forward in the best possible way.
ORCHID FAIRY

The Orchid Fairy is very beautiful, with black hair and

white skin. She was in Atlantis until people abandoned their

original values for power; she then fled to the Bahamas. As

the rich and powerful isolated themselves from those needing
help, she turned to help the poor, fighting illness and assisting
those that society fails. She also nurtures the orchid flowers.
The Orchid Fairy says to you, I am here to bring you
the fiery cross of truth; that you are a powerful person
and that you must believe in all areas of the power given.
You are not holding back in all the ways you receive help,
but you are not willing to succumb to your imagination
enough. You need to believe in the power given to you,
and for the truth to penetrate; that all that is given is
given by God. Believe in all the little folk and endure in
the belief that you have the power of God within you,
for He is there at all times. Believe it. You can now move
forward if you are trusting enough, and reach out to
others along the way. Help them to play their part in
what is to be done for the future so that you bring about
change in the world.
PRIMROSE FAIRY

Her gentle appearance belies a steely nature that is there

when the weather turns bitter and she needs to protect the open
petals of the primrose. She has a way of turning each flower
head into a crystal ball when they need to be protected and
then unfolds her wings to protect them. She trembles with
delight at the beauty of her task.

The Primrose Fairy says, I give you protection as

you rest in the pure gold of my light. You will fear nothing as I defend your right to grow and I enhance your
life through love. Listen now to the rustling of my wings
as you prepare to take your life forward, and unfold
your wings for a flight of great beauty. I have been at
your side for some time but you have been unaware of
my presence. Now it is time for us to take flight together
and gain that awareness that shall sharpen your perception of all valuable things. Surrender yourself to my
protection and enjoy the wisdom and power it brings.
SNOWDROP FAIRY

The Snowdrop Fairy loves the winter when the animals in

the wild come to caress her hands as she offers advice and
help in the cold. She nestles close to the animals in the burrows
allowing them to warm her against the icy blasts outside,
teasingly playing with their tails as they sleep until they stir
and are awake enough to see her smile.
The Snowdrop Fairy says, I am here to bring you
enjoyment in your life. You will recognize the fairys touch
as I bring my hand to yours and rest my face against your
own as a touch of love. Celebrate the person you are,
because you are so cherished and will always be. Enjoy
the power that this brings, and know that I am here with

SNOW GOOSE FAIRY

The Snow Goose Fairy is dressed in white goose down and

varies the shape of her wings according to the type of flight.
For long flights when she follows the geese south in the winter she lengthens her wings along her body into a sail shape.
She is seen in more northerly countries in the summertime.
The Snow Goose Fairy says, You are about to feel
better about what you do. The thoughts that have held
you back in the past are undergoing a change. You are
now a more determined person, so allow this to stimulate a better future. Do not try to escape the need for
authority in your life, but take it and enjoy the love that
it brings you and those around you.
Are you aware of your need to move on or have
you been allowing yourself to feel that it was not yet

move forward in all ways. You will not flounder if you
align yourself with the full power of the fairies. They are

SPIRIT OF THE MIGHTY OAK

With a face of great worldly beauty in shades of green and

The Sycamore Fairy is dignified and purposeful while she

plays a small harp and sings tunefully to the trees. She is a
counselor of woes and will listen if a tree cannot resonate fully
with the will to flower and produce more seedlings. In the
same way, she will also listen to you and calm you as needed.
The Sycamore Fairy says, I am here to soothe your
mind and allow you a channel for your thoughts, so that
they can release you for a more rewarding presence. That
is Gods presence, for He has the power to change your
life. So let your power be given and your life possessed
in goodness and worth. You are now at a point in your life
where you can bring an enormous change. If you believe
you can do this, you will succeed.
Give your heart to the future that awaits you, and you
will find enormous benefit in this. You have an ability to
move forward in your life with joy once you see the full
power of your abilities.
TORTOISESHELL BUTTERFLY FAIRY

The Tortoiseshell Butterfly Fairy floats in and out of view

over nettles and meadows. Her work is sometimes arduous,
as she must find butterflies to wake them for pollinating to
begin. They flit in and out of haystacks and rolls of grass,
but they can be hard to wake. If it is raining it is impossible
to persuade the idling butterfly to come out.

The Tortoiseshell Butterfly Fairy says, You have felt

some anguish in the past and yet never gave up because
you are a persistent worker. You already understand the
presence of the angels and the fairies, and you will feel a

Butterfly Fairys wings in your ears, and know that they are
there to carry you forward to a place of power within your

WILLOW FAIRY

The Willow Fairy has a pure white dress and a headdress

of golden willow flowers. She is calm until marauding beetles
attack the willow tree and then she becomes a fairy with attitude. She brings in small mice to eat the beetles. She has a busy
day and begins it by caressing the trees with a songa
melody to help their growth.
The Willow Fairy asks you, Are you really aware of your
needs, or are you just saying that you want to move forward

inhibit you at times. You must now feel a need to change
this aspect of your life, for this must happen before the
goodness will show through. You are not inhibited by
God, but are helped by Him. There are many ways in
which you can invoke your power upon the world. By
doing so, you can bring forward good energies that are
therapeutic both to your needs and others. This brings a
happier, more fulfilling life for you are ready now to receive
the full worth of God. You are ready to take forward your
life in many ways if you allow the changes to begin.

power of God is there for you. Although God is constant

a task is finished. But she is generous and can be seen caressing the flowers and being kind to the early bees.
Realize now that this is the right time for you to move
on, for you have exhausted the pathway that you have
already trodden. It is time for you to find new areas to
walk, as well as new boundaries to cross. For the wisdom
and guidance of Gods purpose is to bring new ways to
work and explore new goals. You are ready now to give
your life to new things and enjoy the results of your
efforts. There are many ways to grow and we must not
impede that growth by hesitating. Allow yourself to grow
and enjoy all that that it brings. You are a wise person,
and that wisdom can take you far. As you travel forward
in your life, you can also then allow your knowledge to
help others to grow. For when you share, you are allowing other people to benefit from what you have gained.

A beautiful and multidimensional being, she can appear

as a fairy or as a growing part of a tree. A cheeky but robustlooking fairy, she resembles a small pixie. Her red hair catches
the morning sun as she flies through the branches. But when
necessary, she can blend into the background so that even
the insects cannot see her.
You have been discontented with some parts of your
life at times, but you are now on a journey of rebirth.
You should exercise your love more freely, because your
love creates power. You have known for a while that a
time is coming when you will be able to free your mind
of any encumbrances and allow it to grow. Now is that
time, so the Tree Fairy asks you to grow as never before.
She will be there to help you achieve that feeling of
being worthwhile. You are a child of God and you have
intense feelings within you. Use these feelings to guide

To help you in your own reading, we provide examples of two actual readings for two very different and real
people. We think that by including these readings you
will see better how to read and interpret your own cards.
READING ONE

The lady who chose these cards knows that she had
a lot of spiritual work ahead of her. She still had doubts
about her abilities at times and needs to be reassured
about her capabilities. She can work quite intensively and
because she is afraid of missing opportunities and letting
people down, she does not relax enough and enjoy her
journey. She was aware that changes were happening in
her life but she needed to know that she was applying herself in the best way and if there was any area in
which she was failing.
We will not reproduce the actual wording of the card as
you can read this for yourself elsewhere in the book, but the
interpretive reading will show the actual meaning of the
card in this case.
For her past card she picked the Tortoiseshell
Butterfly Fairy.
Right from the start the card is confirming that this lady
fully understands all about working with spirit. This card

confirms her own power in what she has been doing and
points out the importance of what lies ahead. She is at a
significant point of development in her life. This Tortoise
Butterfly Fairy tells her to enjoy herself more and to believe
in herself. It is also saying that change will not be a walk
in the park and she will need to ask for help.
For the present card she chose the Grass Fairy.
Again, this card is confirming the need for her to move
on in her life, but that she has been unsure how to do so. In
this case she has to ask the Grass Fairy if it is ready to bring
her new power. She also has to ask herself if she feels ready to
move on. In this instance she has confirmed that this is what
she wants and that because she has articulated the question,
she is manifesting her future to her own soul and to her
consciousness. She will now find a combination of wisdom
and power within her.
For her future card she chose the Leprechaun.
We all have this image of a Leprechaun being a teller of
jokes and an all round fun-loving little fella. And that is
exactly what he is. The card is telling her that she needs to
put a little magic into her life. She is aware of her own need
to do the best she can for others, but she also needs to relax a
little more and have some fun. By enjoying what she is doing
and having a laugh at the same time she is generating positive energy, not only for herself but for others that she touches.

Her Gold Card was the Tree Fairy.

You can see right now that this fairy has identified the
past discontent that this lady has had. Reinforcing the previous messages, finally this one is saying that she has the power
and the need to move on, and she has now to grow as never
before. She knows that she is a child of God and all His power.
There are many things for her to do and she will enjoy venturing forward on each new project and each day.
READING TWO

This is from a man who is very spiritual and has great

power and ability. His earlier life was very stressful due
to challenges and uncertainties he faced in his job. This
affected his health and his outlook and although that
is in his past, the memories and insecurities still remain
with him, making it difficult for him to trust fully. So,
he is often unsure about his power and direction. On
this occasion he needed reassurance that he is doing the
right thing and is now getting the balance right.
For his past card he chose the Tortoiseshell
Butterfly Fairy.
This card tells him that he has always managed to do
what he had to do, even when it was difficult. His belief
in the presence of angels and fairies helps his awareness of
an upcoming change in his life. It continues to say that he
should attach great importance to the way ahead. He is at
a point of development where he can now really take his life

forward in a better way and enjoy it even more. It will not

be easy and he may need help, so he has to learn to ask for
that help when it is needed.
For the present card he chose the Elm Tree Elf.
Although others are aware of his need to move forward,
he doesnt always see it, but by his belief in fairies he can wake
up to the need to progress. By moving forward he can put the
difficulties of the past behind him. He should never doubt
that there is a lot of growth ahead.
For the future card he chose the Fairy of
Dawn Awakening.
In no uncertain terms, this card is telling him that he
is now at the threshold of a new awakening. He should not
waste energy on anger or regret about the past but to recognize the abundant goodness that he has in his future. This
whole new force of power and wisdom will take him forward with ambition and the ability to create good.
The Gold Card choice was the Fairy of
Summer Flowers.
This card is reminding him that his life is full of personal
choices and tasks, which he can do or ignore, according to his
free. Although God is a constant presence in his life, he may
have doubted at times when things were difficult. Although
he has free choice there are at times when he doesnt make the
most of opportunities that are offered. He should remember

that God is there to help him avoid difficult situations in

the future and to bring joy into his life.
As you can see from the two cases above, you should
use the information on the cards as a guide as to what
you should be doing with your life, but without distorting the message in any way.
You must ensure that you do not force or read meanings into the information given on the card that is not
really there. The cards you select provide divine guidance
to help you to progress and for possibly even furthering
the lives of those around you through your development.
Just be aware that you do indeed have free will in all
that you do and that includes using the messages on
the cards. You can ignore them and do nothing, but
that would be a great shame when by putting in a little
personal effort you may be able to live a life that is far
better than you could ever imagine!
Live your life to the full, just as it was meant to be.
