EXPERIENCE

Today morning I wish to narrate an experience that gave me some direct insight, which I
would like to share on this thread.
While travelling in a bus in the early morning, it was a coincidence that a mentally
challenged boy in the older teens happened to sit beside me. He was calm except that his
visible traits looked different to me. As the journey progressed he laid his head on my
shoulders during most of the journey time and slept. At the end of the journey he gave me
a smile which is naturally different. But the genuineness of his smile is unquestionable
but the smile I gave him back lacked the quality of his expression.
Getting down from the bus I thought of the following :Human beings have various ways of reacting to the outside world. A very intelligent man
feels very comfortable while discussing matters with a person of little lower intellect,
talks with dignity with equals, feels a little insecure with immediate superiors, shows
respect to greater superiors , and submits to the highest. One feels disdain while talking to
lesser people and scorns at the ignorant. When one deals with a mental patient he or she
assumes the doctor personality, the more ill person is treated differently ranging from
person who is conscious to a person in coma condition. All these people are prevalent in
the society and in all there is a common consciousness which is really unaffected and
only the organic differences exist be it genes or hereditary, including the IQ levels of each
individual, and knowledge gained.
S o when there are multitude of such individuals existing in the world, Is evolution
individual or collective. We are more evolved than plants and animals is an accepted
statement by all, but what further evolutions we expect from humans is better discussed if
some bright person lays down the yardstick. Hence we are understandably talking now on
the intelligence aspect of human beings evolved i.e. brighter and brighter, smaller and
smaller? brains more compacter and all the distortions that the present human beings can
think of. Mere physical change alone is not evolution.
In all these matters there is a will of a person which gives directions on the individuals
evolution. A pilot in modern warfare if he wills i.e, his own sweet will can drop an atomic
warhead more devastating than Hiroshima even though his physics and mathematics are
sound and the carelessness to heed sound advice After destruction and annihilation things
again evolve just as ant hills are destroyed by mischievous boys. Why is it that this will
differs from individual to individual, and there are children born with various birth
defects even though the parents are sound and healthy? Why is then there a disparity from
people to people, nation to nations? Is evolving apply to only the elite, or is there a phase
difference between community development and nation upbringing? Are all intellectuals
free from greed, vanity and destructive tenden... [more] which has a say in the evolution?
This aspect has been addressed in the Karma theory which believes in cause and effect
and also includes the will of an individual which modern human beings do not want to
consider as it is beyond physics and mathematics. I do not want talk on Karma theory
immediately now and leave it to later.
Finally I must thank myself on the bus experience as it has made me more wiser, perhaps
of my mad love to the True Consciousness on which I had spoken relentlessly so far.
Experience of a person is the true lesson learnt
