Sino Ako?

Hiram sa DIYOS ang aking buhay

Ikaw at akoy tanging handog lamang
Di ko ni nais na akoy isilang
ngunit salamat dahil may buhay
Ligaya ko na akoy isilang pagkat tao ay mayroong dangal
Sinong may pag ibig sinong nagmamahal
Kung di ang tao DIYOS ang pinagmulan
Kung di ako umibig kung di ko man bigyang halaga
Ang buhay kong handog ang buhay kong hiram sa DIYOS

NECROLOGICAL SERVICE
IN HONOR OF THE LATE
__________________________________________________________________
GREETINGS: Dear friends we are here to offer this prayer service to the bereaved
family. We are here to offer our prayers to _____________.
Likewise extend our sincere condolence and sympathy to the
members of the family , friends and relatives who are joining in this
very glorious memento. Every time we remember her presence, we
become conscious of our loss and of our grief. Grief causes a
wound, sometimes a very deep wound. Like all wounds, it hurt. But
this is one wound we need not be ashamed of, for it is caused by
LOVE. What we are now, she was once. What she is now, we will
be. Christ blessed those who mourn and said they would be comforted.

Lift Up Your Hands To God

Life is not all that bad, my friend, hmmm
If you believe in yourself
If you believe there's Someone
Who walks through life with you
You'll never be alone
Just learn to reach out,
And open your heart
Lift up your hands to God,
And He'll show you the way.

When you feel the world

Is tumblin' down on you,
And you have no one
That you can hold on to,
Just face the rising sun
And you'll see hope,
And there's no need to run
Lift up your hands to God,
And He'll make you feel all right.

And He said, "Cast your burdens upon

Me
Those who are heavily laden,
Come to Me, all of you who are tired
Of carrying heavy loads,
For the yoke I will give you is easy
And My burden is light,
Come to Me and I will give you rest."

And He said, "Cast your burdens upon

Me
Those who are heavily laden,
Come to Me, all of you who are tired
Of carrying heavy loads,
For the yoke I will give you is easy
And My burden is light,
Come to Me and I will give you rest."

As we recall his words, let us renew our faith in his presence among
us.
In name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN.
OPENING SONG: HOW GREAT THOU ART
LEADER:

Dear Brothers and Sisters, at the beginning of this prayer service. I

wish you all grace and peace from God who has built for us in heaven,
a home of happiness that will last forever. May our beloved
___________ with God who raised Jesus from the dead, be always
with you.
ALL and also with you
LEADER:
Our life with all that we are and have is not ours to possess for it is
entrusted to us by God. It is a loan from Him not to be kept but to
work with the best we can.
Our ________, was a gift of God to us for her dedicated life service as
a daughter, a friend, and a good Christian.
As we offer our prayers, we pray that God will lead our dear sister into
the everlasting peace and joy in heaven and may be an inspiration to
our community in her life service to God and neighbor.

LET US PRAY: O God, our creator and Redeemer, grant unto the soul, grant unto
the soul of our departed _______ and unto the souls of the faithful
departed the remission of all their sins and that by our pious
supplication, they may obtain the pardon which they always desired.
Be merciful we beseech you, O Lord, on the souls of the faithful
departed, especially on the soul of ________ for whom we offer you
this sacrifice of praise , humbly beseeching your majesty that by this
Holy and propitiatory offering, they me be fund worthy to win
everlasting rest, through Christ, your Son , who with You, live and
reigns in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever,
Amen.
SONG: AMAZING GRACE
LET US PRAY: God of Mercy and compassion, no one is safe from death, the seeds
of death are implanted in
life. Even your only Son had to pass through the dark valley of death.
But we know that on the third day he rose from the dead and is now
sharing in your glory. And so we pray with
fullest trust: Give our brother _________ the place which your Son
has prepared for Him.
Let him share in your everlasting life , joy and peace on account of
him who died for us,
Jesus Christ, our Lord forever and ever. AMEN.
FIRST READING: A reading from the book of Wisdom 3:1-9
But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment will ever
touch them. In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was
thought to be a disaster, and their going from us to be their destruction; but they are at
peace. For though in the sight of others they were punished, their hope is full of
immortality. Having been disciplined a little, they will receive great good, because God
tested them and found them worthy of himself; like gold in the furnace he tried them, and
like a sacrificial burnt-offering he accepted them. In the time of their visitation they will
shine forth, and will run like sparks through the stubble. They will govern nations and
rule over peoples, and the Lord will reign over them forever. Those who trust in him will
understand truth, and the faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and mercy
are upon his holy ones, and he watches over his elect.

The word of the Lord. Thanks to be God.

GOSPEL: INTRODUCTION:
Man is like a seed. If it is left to itself, it produces nothing but when it
apparently dies, when it has been buried in the ground then it gives more than itself: it
brings a whole harvest.
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 12: 23 26.

Jesus said to His disciples: Now the hour has come for the Son of man to be
glorified. I tell you most solemnly, unless wheat grain falls on the ground and dies, it
remains only a single grain; but if it dies, it yields a rich harvest. Anyone who loves
his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If a man serves me, he must follow
me whenever I am, my servant will be there too. If anyone serves me, my Father will
honor him.
This is the Gospel of the Lord.

In His great love, the God of all consolation, gave our dear _______________
the gift of life. It is the same God who has taken him/her unto Himself. May his/her
faith in the resurrection be the hope of rising a new life. We ask this through Christ,
our Lord. Amen.
Lord, our God, have mercy on our beloved dead. Bring him/her into the
fullness of your joy and let him/her live with you in heaven. Give him/her eternal
rest, o Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him/her. May all the faithful departed
through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

ALL: Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

SONGS:
How Great Thou Art
O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the *worlds thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the *rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed:
Refrain

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:

How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander

And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
Refrain
And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in,
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
Refrain
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation

And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!

Then *I shall bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, My God, how great thou art!
