1 INTRODUCTION

This document contains the release notes of Nemo Handy-A version 2.52, release date April 2nd,
2015. The document describes new functionalities and features, and new supported terminals.

3 COMPATIBILITY

3.1 Log File Format compatibility

Nemo Handy-A 2.52.284 writes log files according to Nemo File Format v.2.21. The Nemo File
Manager version 3.10.59 or newer is compatible with Nemo Handy-A 2.52.

Full support for Nemo Handy-A 2.52 log files is available with Nemo Analyze version 7.2 and Nemo
Outdoor version 7.4 and later. Older versions of Nemo Analyze and Nemo Outdoor can be used as
well, but the new metrics added to the Nemo File Format v2.21 will not be displayed.

3.2 Nemo Handy-A Autonomous compatibility

Nemo Handy-A Autonomous v2.52 is compatible with Nemo Commander 7.20 or later.

3.3 Terminal and scanner compatibility

Previous versions of Nemo Handy-A can be upgraded to the new version by uninstalling the old
version from the terminal first.
Notice that the DRT scanner needs to have firmware 01.07.00 before it can be used with Nemo
Handy.
Notice that DRT and PCTEL scanners require Samsung Galaxy S4+, S5 , Note 3, Note 4, or
Samsung 10.1 2014 edition tablet.
Current FW version can be checked from the Nemo Handy-A About menu. Firmware upgrade must
be performed by Anite. Contact Nemo Helpdesk for further details at nemosupport@anite.com.

4 LICENSING

Notice that before you do a factory reset for the terminal you need to release the license back to
the OTA license server from the Nemo Handy License menu. If you do not release the license from
Nemo Handy before you reset the license you cannot obtain a new license without contacting Nemo
Helpdesk.

5 KNOWN ISSUES

HTTP browsing scripts that download web pages with Java scripts may cause Nemo Handy to
crash after a few hours of measurement. The problem is caused by memory leakage in the
Android web browser.
GSM diagnostics is not working correctly with TD-LTE terminals: Samsung Galaxy S4 TD-LTE GTI9507, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini TD-LTE GT-I9197.
Samsung GS5: VQ call audios are not always routed correctly. At some point no audios can be
heard, but MOS values are still gained and recorded.
Samsung GS5: HSUPA parameters are not recorded / shown on the views.
Samsung GS5 (Sprint): Packet technology shows LTE after locking to CDMA.
Samsung GS5 (Sprint): Some EVDO parameters shown as N/A.
HTC: forcing functions are not supported.
PCI forcing is supported with Samsung S5 and Note4 terminals, but it will be released when
RRC release is done.
To be able to achieve maximum Wi-Fi throughputs, please turn off the Wi-Fi location feature in
the terminal. Go to Location Services in settings and disable Use Wireless Networks for
location.
Packet capture is not supported with Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G901F.
