• Create an application to create the entire purchase order request for the supply chain
application each day along with validating the ridged requirement for the file. I created
an application that would allow the user to add a single purchase order that had been
changed to the file. Before the files are transferred all changes and/or addition are
validated again before being transferred to Avery’s.
• I created the following application that would process the following files department
table, purchase order header, store table, vendor table, and marker able. The entries in
these files must meet a ridged set of requirements before being transferred to Compliance
Networks. The application would sign on weekly to Compliance Networks system and
retrieve the accounts payable files for JD Edward accounting system. I validated that the
information being returned met a ridged set of requirements which included the record
counts for each file.
• Programming was completed on the AS/400 and the major software area was Supply
Chain and Purchase Order processing and Aldon Lifecycle Manager.
