magazine and the design hero was provided.

TRUTH SERUM PACKAGING

Based on the given topic, my challenge was to
design a packaging for an imaginary product of
my own choice. Truth serum was my chosen
topic and the product is candies.
These candies are for parents who need to know
whether their kids are telling the truth or not,
so they will let the children eat these candies.

WWF POSTER
For this project, the challenge was to create a piece
of poster based on the topics provided, and the
topic I choose was WWF.

ALBUM COVER
For this project, the challenge was to create a piece
of custom or hand-drawn type for a fictional band,
and the name of the band was provided.
It was then up to my own intepretation of the
bands name through a set of interview questions
and relevant visual, conceptual research and the
process of making and designing.

MOSAIC MUSIC FESTIVAL

BROCHURE
My challenge was to design a brochure for a real
event with minimum of eight chosen artists. The
event selected was the Mosaic Music Festival (by
Esplanade, Singapore).

SAIGON BEFORE 1975

For this project, I was asked to create an
illustration for a local museum reflecting the rich
cultural history of South East Asia.
Drawing inspiration from relevant myths,
stories, events and objects, I began to investigate
my chosen area through thorough research and
observational drawing.
I collected images of art, artefacts,
objects, people, the natural environment,textures,
typography, architecture, motifs and symbols for
the research of my chosen subject, Saigon before
1945.

WEB DESIGN
For this project I learned how to use Adobe
Muse to design a website for the Sundance
Film Festival with hand illustrated designs.

SELF-PROMO VIDEO
This is a self- promo video I did of a fun wall
painting to demonstrate my passion about
typography and hand-lettering.

CHRISTMAS CARD

BOOK COVER
I created a book cover that told the story of
the book using type treatment alone with
no support of the images. The aim was
to understand and master the art of type
treatment by being able to communicate and
tell a story to the viewers through typeface.

LOGO & BRAND IDENTITY

I was required to create a logo and
logotype for a chosen business.

TYPOGRAPHY
The aim of the project was to design a
typographic image that explores the subject
of taboos.
Taboos are ideas or practices which are
prohibited or restricted by social custom or
law. they are part of each and every society
and yet, often differ greatly country to
country, religion to religion and over time.
They generally reflect a moral
position or cultural belief and so may
vary a great deal in terms of sevenrity.
