PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
High Pressure Boiler Operator
• Maintained and repaired housing units’ heating and hot water
• Maintained and repaired pumps, valves and all apparatus for high pressure boilers and sub-
stations
• Assisted stationary engineers, pipe fitters, plumbers, electricians and other skilled tradesmen
and contractors
• Performed general maintenance for heating plant, housing units and high rise buildings
• Test boiler water quality and take necessary corrective action, such as adding chemicals to
prevent corrosion and harmful deposits
• Maintain required amounts of water in boilers, adjust combustion air supplies, and control fuel
supplies
• Monitor and inspect equipment, equipment controls switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety
devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions to ensure that equipment is operating
efficiently and safely
• Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results,
instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work
