Experience and Skills

Welding
• Skilled in welding practices, utilizing MIG, arc welding, and flux-core welding.
• Completed 742 hours of specialized training and obtained welding certification.
• Accurately welded, ground and sanded products to quality specification; chipped and ground
off excess weld, slag or splatter using hand scraper or power chipper, portable grinder or arc-
cutting equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to prep tanks on the line, stock tips, and gear up and clean out welding hole.
• Utilized various hand tools, calipers and laser calipers, and ensured all tools and supplies were
accounted for.
• Reviewed layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding or cutting metal
components.
• Balanced workflow to ensure deadlines were met and product standards were upheld.
• Coordinated the shipping and receiving of materials, as well as monitoring stock.

Construction/General Labor
• Professionally led a 4 person crew assigning work and evaluating performance.
• Responsible for hiring, training and terminating workers.
• Accurately estimate jobs and efficiently order supplies for each project.
• Proficient in all aspects of roofing to include: the removal and application of shingles, tiles and tar for
flat roofs.
• Demonstrated ability to install combination and bay windows and aluminum siding.
• Competent in the completion of interior surfaces to include: mudding, taping, sanding and spraying wall
board and installing molding throughout.
• Knowledge of all types of paints and applications for both interior and exterior surfaces.
