In Lahore Against Zaid Hamid

This is a minute by minute details of the

fight that was fought in Lahore on Monday
8th March 2010 to prevent Zaid Hamid from
conducting his program at University of
Lahore on 10th, March 2010.

Although reports surfaced that the program

was scheduled in Comsats Lahore, this was
not true. The Program was scheduled in
University of Lahore at 11 am in the
morning on 10th of March 2010. It is worth
noting that this was the first ever open
invitation program of Zaid Hamid. In
addition to the students any one from the
civil society was eligible to participate in the
program. The University made arrangements
for 15,000 (yes fifteen thousand)
participants. From the extensive
arrangements it is clear that Zaid Hamid is
now planning to spread his wings beyond
the students and reach out to the masses.

Our Mujahid [real name with held for

privacy reasons] got a call from a student of
University of Lahore on the night of Sunday
7th of March 2010, that Zaid Hamid is
coming to University of Lahore on 10th
March, 2010. The call triggered an
emergency and a group of students in the
university [again details of the group with
held for privacy reasons] were contacted.
The students asked our Mujahid and his
companions to meet them at 11 am on
Monday morning. The Mujahid grabbed all
the evidential proofs and videos against
Yusuf Kazab and Zaid Hamid and reached
the University well before time. His first
meeting was with the student group. After
seeing the documents, the students were
convinced that Yusuf was a Kazab and a
Dajjal and that Zaid Hamid is his defender
– who must not be allowed to set his feet
on the pure soil of University of Lahore.

The students advised Mujahid to meet with

some teachers and try getting a few teachers
on his side, who could take the matter to the
University Administration. This suggestion
led to a phase of running from pillar to post,
as the Mujahid ended up meeting almost the
entire teaching faculty of University of
Lahore. The entire faculty was convinced
that Zaid Hamid should be denied entry into
University of Lahore, but were reluctant to
take up the matter in front of the
administration. Mujahid was advised by the
faculty to go it alone – and take up the case
with the administration on his own

Mujahid decided to meet the administration

and laid out the entire baggage of documents
and videos in front of the administration.
After an elaborate discussion, the
administration was convinced that Zaid
Hamid is a defender of a Kazab, and hence
should not be allowed access to University
of Lahore.
It is worth while to note here, that this
program of Zaid Hamid was initially
arranged by two die-hard fans of Zaid
Hamid from the Pharmacy Dept. [Once
again names of the students with held for
privacy reasons]. However, after the
students made all the arrangements and the
program was confirmed, the University
administration received orders from
powerful quarters that this program must go
as scheduled.

Due to the extreme pressure applied by the

“upper wala’s” the administration offered
Mujahid to let Zaid Hamid come to the
University and in return the Ulema from
AMTKN could ask him pinching questions.
The administration offered our Mujahid that:
Yar ab to sarey ke sarey intizamaat ho gai
hain, payments ho gai hain. Aap unhein
aa lenay dein, aur sawal poch ker ganda
ker lena.

The Mujahid stood his ground and informed

the administration that its a matter of life
and death for us. Due to this reason, despite
heavy police protection in Peshawar – Zaid
Hamid’s program was badly disrupted. [See

Mujahid further disclosed that there were

only an estimated 2000 students in
Peshawar, whereas at University of Lahore
there have been arrangements for 15,000
people. If the lions of Rasool Allah SAW
decided to take matters into their own hands,
no police force would be able to control
them. Any blood spilled on the campus
would be on the shoulders of the
administration.

As a bear minimum, Mujahid informed

the administration that if nothing can be
done – than it would be a Munazira
between Ulema of AMTKN and Zaid
Hamid instead of he spilling his lies and
we listening to him.

The administration asked the Mujahid to

give them some time and went into a closed
door meeting. The meeting dragged on for
hours. Our Mujahid informed the student
from whom he received a call regarding
Zaid Hamid’s program in the university on
Sunday night that he has to go to Saifee
college, as he has received calls of a
potential program by Zaid Hamid over there
as well.

The Mujahid left the university and was on

his way to Saifee College, that it got time for
Asar prayers. The Mujahid went to a near-by
mosque and was in the mid of Dua – that he
got a call from the student group, asking him
to come back to University.

The Mujahid scrambled back, and on his

arrival was informed about the management
decision that Zaid Hamid’s program has
been cancelled. The management
informed Mujahid that we have reached
this decision on security grounds, because
in case we go through this program we
wont be able to guarantee the security of
our Campus – specially in the presence of
such huge gathering.

[Editor's Note: We believe that the decision

of the administration is applausible and
wise, because the lions of Muhammad ur
Rasool Allah SAW will make no
distinction between Zaid Hamid - the
defender of Yusuf Kazab and his
supporters or promoters. Because by
promoting Zaid Hamid - one is by
association supporting Yusuf Kazab]
