In a classroom set to candlelight and escuhando
primi ve music, you will discover HOW painted our
prehistoric ancestors and WHY tools and dyes.
An entertaining workshop to experience the cave
pain ng with oxides, coal and natural lands, matching
the level of understanding and manipula ve skills of
the smallest.

Sound&Symbols
(Prehistoric music)
Music is one of the oldest symbolic manifesta ons of
human beings. This workshop will review and hear the
rst instruments of humanity using dierent
archaeological reproduc ons.
Explain how were made and how those sounds originate.
In addi on, each par cipant will produce a wind
instrument, or buzzer Paleolithic, "the mobile phone of
prehistory.
Understand the concept of symbol and reect on the

importance of conveying emo ons through music.

Streetscape
By understanding and recording buildings on a streetscape,
par cipants will become aware and appreciate their built
environment.
This ac vity allows children to discover what materials and
methods are used in the construc on of dierent buildings
and structures. Learning about dierent types of building
materials and construc on methods provides students with
a unique way to study their community and how it
developed.
