Thank you for purchasing this Hendi appliance. Please read these user instructions
carefully before connecting the appliance to prevent damage due to improper use. Please
pay special attention to the safety regulations.
Safety regulations
Incorrect operation and improper use of the appliance can seriously damage the
appliance and injure users.
The appliance may only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and
designed. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation
and improper use.
Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and any other liquids. In the
unlikely event that the appliance should fall into water, immediately pull the plug out
of the socket and have the appliance checked by a certified technician. Not following
these instructions could give rise to life-threatening situations.
Never try to open the casing of the appliance yourself.
Do not insert any objects in the casing of the appliance.
Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
Regularly check the plug and cord for any damage. Should the plug or cord be
damaged have it/them repaired by a certified repair company.
Do not use the appliance after it has fallen or is damaged in any other way. Have it
checked and repaired, if necessary, by a certified repair company.
Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. This could give rise to life-threatening
situations.
Make sure the cord does not come in contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it
away from open fire. To pull the plug out of the socket, always pull on the plug and not
on the cord.
Make sure that no one can accidentally pull the cord (or extension cord) loose or trip
over the cord.
Always keep an eye on the appliance when in use.
Children do not understand that incorrect use of electrical appliances can be
dangerous. Therefore, never let children use home appliances without supervision.
Always pull the plug out of the socket when the appliance is not being used and always
before cleaning.
Warning! As long as the plug is in the socket the appliance is connected to the power
source.
Turn off the appliance before pulling the plug out of the socket.
Never carry the appliance by the cord.
Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied along with the appliance.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed 230 VAC electrical socket.
Avoid overloading.
Turn off the appliance after use by removing the plug from the socket.
Always remove the plug from the socket when filling or cleaning the deep fryer.
The electrical installation must satisfy the applicable national and local regulations.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

Special safety regulations

Caution! Make sure the cord does not come in contact with hot components while
using the appliance.
Do not install the appliance near objects and appliances that may be affected by a
magnetic field, like, e.g., TVs, radios, bank cards and credit cards.
Maintain a minimum clearance of 15 cm around the appliance for ventilation.
Never leave any metal objects on the appliance.
Never switch on the appliance with an empty pan on top of it, as this may result in
serious damage to the appliance.
Make sure the appliance is not set up near water vapour or greasy vapours. The fan of
the appliance will take in these vapours and this will cause grease or moisture to
accumulate in the appliance which may result in a short-circuit in the appliance. Clean
the grease filter regularly
Preparations before using for the first time
Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact your
supplier immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
Remove all the packing material.
Clean the appliance with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.
Level the appliance.
Make sure that a clearance of 15 cm is maintained around the appliance with respect
to ventilation of the appliance.
Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.

Check for your cookwares for Induction

The cookware used with Induction cookers should have flat bottom for good contact
with the surface of the cooking zone. Please check the flatness by rotating a ruler
across the bottom of the cookware.

Operating the appliance

Put the plug in the socket
Set the pan of your choice on the cooking surface, bearing the above mentioned
instructions in mind
Note! Do not leave your pan on the appliance while empty as this may lead to damage
to your pan

Switch the appliance on by pressing the "ON/OFF key"

If your pan is suitable for induction and has a bottom diameter of 12cm, at minimum,
the appliance will go into operation.
If you have pressed the power key
, the appliance will enter in capacity mode
operation and you will recognize this from the fact that the fan will go on and the

On the other hand, if you have pressed temperature key

in temperature mode operation, the default temperature is 100oC

Note! If the appliance beeps after being switched on, the pan you are using is not
suitable for induction or the appliance is defective. In case of any doubt, always
contact the supplier of your pan !
Once the appliance is operating, it enters the Capacity mode by default, and the
display indicates position "1300", you can programme the appliance in one of the
following ways.
Capacity mode: You can control the performance of the appliance, just as for a
gas cooker via 11 positions ranging from 100W to 2000W
Temperature mode: you can set the temperature between 35oC and 240oC in 5oC
increments. Standard position for the appliance is 100oC.
NOTE: if we keep pressing the arrow keys, the SET temperature increases in a
fast speed
Attention! The programmed temperature is that of the glass plate and not the
temperature in the pan !

Capacity Mode: If you choose capacity mode, press the "Power key"

Timer setting: After programming the power or temperature, you can opt to
programme the timer, This timer switches the appliance off after the programmed
time has been reached. You can do this by pressing the "Timer key"
programming the power or temperature, the lighting of the "Timer key"
switched on.

From 0 - 10 minutes, the time adjusted interval is 1 minute for each increment
and 30 seconds for each decrement

Switch OFF the appliance: Once you have reached the required result, you can switch

NOTE! Allow the appliance to cool off before you touch it. The glass plate is very hot
after use.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
Beware: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent).
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use any sharp or pointed
objects. Do not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth and detergent if
necessary. Do not use abrasive materials.
Clean the fan openings with the vacuum cleaner.
Clean the glass plate each time after use. This is to prevent any residues from burning
onto the glass plate.
For daily cleaning of the glass, special detergent should be used

wir danken Ihnen fr den Kauf des Gertes Hendi. Machen Sie sich bitte mit dieser Anleitung
noch vor der Inbetriebnahme des Gertes vertraut, um Schden durch die unsachgeme
Bedienung zu vermeiden. Den Sicherheitsregeln ist besondere Aufmerksamkeit zu widmen.
Sicherheitsregeln
Infolge der unsachgemen Bedienung knnen ernsthafte Schden am Gert oder
Verletzungsgefahren fr die Benutzer entstehen.
Das Gert darf nur zu dem Zweck gebraucht werden, fr den es ausgelegt wurde. Der
Hersteller bernimmt keine Haftung fr durch die unsachgeme Bedienung
verursachte Schden am Gert.
Halten Sie das Gert und dessen elektrischen Stecker fern von Wasserquellen und
Quellen anderer Flssigkeiten. Kommt es zum Eintauchen des Gertes in Wasser,
ziehen Sie sofort den Stecker aus der Steckdose und suchen Sie einen zertifizierten
Service auf, um das Gert zu berprfen. Die vorstehenden Empfehlungen sind
unbedingt zu befolgen, anderenfalls besteht Lebensgefahr!
Nehmen Sie nicht selbststndig das Gehuse des Gertes ab.
Legen Sie keine Gegenstnde unter das Gehuse.
Fassen Sie den Stecker nicht mit nassen Hnden an.
Prfen Sie den Stecker und die Leitung regelmig auf mgliche Beschdigungen. Ist
der Stecker bzw. die Leitung beschdigt, wenden Sie sich bitte an einen zertifizierten
Service.
Benutzen Sie das Gert nicht, wenn es auf den Boden gefallen ist oder anderweitig
beschdigt wurde. Wenden Sie sich bitte an einen zertifizierten Service, um das Gert
zu berprfen und ggf. zu reparieren.
Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gert selbststndig zu reparieren. Dies kann lebensgefhrlich
sein!
Versichern Sie sich, dass die Leitung nicht mit scharfen bzw. heien Gegenstnden in
Berhrung ist und halten Sie die Leitung fern von offenen Feuerquellen. Ziehen Sie
nicht an der Leitung, um den Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.
Versichern Sie sich, dass die Leitung derart verlegt ist, dass keine Gefahr des Stolperns
und zuflligen Herausziehens der Leitung (bzw. der Verlngerungsschnur) aus der
Steckdose besteht.
Beobachten Sie das Gert im Betrieb.
Das Verweilen von Kindern in der Nhe elektrischer Gerte kann gefhrlich sein. Man
darf Kindern nicht erlauben, ohne Aufsicht elektrische Gerte zu bedienen.
Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gert auer Betrieb ist oder
gereinigt wird.
Achtung: Das Gert wird die ganze Zeit mit Strom versorgt, solange der Stecker mit der
Steckdose verbunden ist.
Schalten Sie das Gert aus, bevor Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Tragen Sie das Gert nicht, indem Sie es an der Leitung halten.
Verwenden Sie kein zustzliches Zubehr, das nicht mit dem Gert geliefert wurde.
Schlieen Sie das Gert an eine geerdete Steckdose an, Spannung: 230 VAC.
Vermeiden Sie die berlastung.
Die elektrische Anlage hat den geltenden nationalen und lokalen Vorschriften zu
entsprechen.
Das Gert darf nicht von Kindern, von motorisch, sensorisch oder psychisch
Behinderten sowie von Personen ohne die erforderliche Erfahrung oder Sachkenntnis

Sicherheitshinweise fr die Anwendung

ACHTUNG! Whrend der Nutzung des Induktionskochers ist darauf zu achten, dass das
Stromversorgungskabel die heien Teile weder der Kochplatte noch der Kochgeschirre
berhrt.
Den Kocher nicht in die Nhe von solchen Gerten stellen, deren Funktion durch das
Magnetfeld (der Fernseher, Rundfunkempfnger und so hnliche) gestrt werden kann.
Gegenstnde, die auf die Einwirkung des Magnetfeldes empfindlich sind, besonders
Zahlkarten, Kreditkarten usw., sind vom Kocher fern zu halten.
Rundum den Kocher muss mindestens ein Freiraum von 15 cm fr die Belftung gelassen
werden.
Auf der Kochplatte drfen keine Metallgegenstnde, wie z.B. Messer, Gabel, Lffel,
Deckel, Alufolie usw., abgelegt werden.
Der Kocher darf nicht eingeschaltet werden, wenn auf der Kochplatte noch ein leeres
Kochgeschirr steht, weil dadurch eine ernsthafte Beschdigung besteht.
Stellen Sie den Kocher nicht dort auf, wo er der Einwirkung von Wasserdampf oder fetten
Dmpfen ausgesetzt ist. Der im Kocher eingebaute Lfter saugt sie an und im Innern
sammelt sich Feuchtigkeit und Fett, die auch einen inneren elektrischen Kurzschluss
hervorrufen knnen. Der Fettfilter muss regelmig gereinigt werden.

Vorbereitende Ttigkeiten vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Induktionskochers

Prfen Sie, ob der Kocher nicht beschdigt ist. Wenn irgendwelche Schden festgestellt
werden, muss man sich mit dem Lieferanten in Verbindung setzen und den Kocher NICHT
verwenden.
Nehmen Sie den Kocher aus der Verpackung und beseitigen Sie smtliches
Verpackungsmaterial.
Den Kocher mit einem weichen, in lauwarmen Wasser angefeuchteten Tuch abwischen.
Den Kocher ausnivellieren.
Denken Sie daran, dass um den Kocher herum ein Freiraum von mindestens 15 cm fr
eine richtige Belftung notwendig ist.
Der Kocher ist an solch einem Ort aufzustellen, wo man immer freien Zugang zum
Stecker der Anschlussleitung und der Netzsteckdose hat.

Die Speisen bereitet man am besten auf einer Grillplatte zu, die im kompletten Satz des
Induktionskochers mitgeliefert wird.

Man kann auch Kochgeschirre (Tpfe und Bratpfannen) verwenden, die fr

Induktionskocher und Heizplatten vorgesehen sind. Solche Geschirre haben
gewhnlich das am Boden eingeschlagene Kennzeichnungssymbol, das besagt, ob
sich das gegebene Geschirr fr eine Anwendung auf Induktionsgerten eignet:

Welche Kchengeschirre sollte man fr einen Induktionskocher verwenden

Die fr die Zubereitung von Speisen auf dem Induktionskocher zu verwendenden

Kochgeschirre mssen einen flachen Boden haben, der einen guten Wrmekontakt mit
der Oberflche der Heizplatte garantiert. Den flachen Boden der Geschirre kann man
berprfen, indem man das mit der Kante an den Boden gestellte Lineal umdreht.

Wenn das aufgesetzte Geschirr entsprechend fr den Kocher und die Induktionsplatten
geeignet ist und der Bodendurchmesser mindestens 12 cm hat, geht der Kocher in den
Funktionsbetrieb ber.

Wenn die Taste

gedrckt wurde, wird der Kocher im Regelbetrieb der Leistung in
Betrieb genommen. Man kann das daran erkennen, dass auf der Anzeige der
14 Leistungsstand 100 erscheint.

Betrieb genommen und auf der Anzeige erscheint der Standardtemperaturwert 100C.

ACHTUNG! Wenn man nach dem Einschalten des Kochers einen Signalton hrt, so warnt
dieser davor, dass auf der Kochplatte ein fr die Induktionseinrichtungen nicht geeignetes
Kochgeschirr abgestellt wurde oder eine Beschdigung des Kochers signalisiert wird.
Bestehen irgendwelche Zweifel, muss man sich mit dem Hersteller des Geschirrs in
Verbindung setzen!
Beginnt man mit dem Funktionsbetrieb des Kochers, so wird standardgem der
Regelbetrieb fr die Leistung in Betrieb genommen, und auf der Anzeige erscheint das
Leistungsniveau 1300. Man kann dann die Funktion des Kochers in einem der zwei
folgenden Betriebsarten programmieren:
Regelbetrieb der Leistung: Man kann die Leistung zum Erhitzen der Kochplatte
regeln, und zwar hnlich, wie das in einem gewhnlichen Kocher mit Gas erfolgt. Zur
Verfgung stehen 11 Leistungsstnde von 100 W bis 2000 W.
Regelbetrieb der Temperatur: Man kann die Temperatur in einem Intervall von 35
o
C bis 240 oC in Schritten von jeweils 5C einstellen. Die Standardeinstellung der
Temperatur betrgt 100 C.
ACHTUNG: Nach dem Drcken und Festhalten der Tasten mit den Pfeilen wird sich
der eingestellte Temperaturwert schnell verndern.
ACHTUNG! Der programmierte Temperaturwert, das ist die Temperatur der
Glasplatte des Gertes und nicht die Temperatur im Geschirr!
Regelbetrieb der Leistung: Wenn man den Kocher im Regelbetrieb der Leistung in
Betrieb nehmen mchte, dann drcken Sie die Taste EIN der Stromversorgung

, die

nach dem Drcken wie folgt aufleuchtet:

. Standardgem stellt man den Kocher auf
eine Leistung von 100 W. Jetzt kann man die gewnschte Heizleistung programmieren, in

Regelbetrieb der Temperatur: Um die Temperaturregelung zu benutzen, drckt man auf

Temperatur kann man den Minutenzeiger einstellen, der die Kochplatte nach Ablauf der
eingestellten Zeit ausschaltet. Zu diesem Zweck muss man nach dem Programmieren der
Leistung und der Temperatur die Taste des Minutenzeigers
Drcken der Taste des Minutenzeigers leuchtet sie wie folgt auf:

Einstellen der Zeit von 0 bis 10 Minuten: jedes Drcken der Taste mit dem Pfeil nach

unten verkrzt sie um 30 Sekunden.
Einstellen der Zeit von 10 bis 60 Minuten: jedes Drcken der Taste mit dem Pfeil
nach oben verlngert die eingestellte Zeit um 5 Minuten, aber der Taste mit dem
Pfeil nach unten verkrzt sie um 1 Minute.
Einstellen der Zeit von 60 bis 180 Minuten: jedes Drcken der Taste mit dem Pfeil
nach oben verlngert die eingestellte Zeit um 10 Minuten, aber der Taste mit dem
Pfeil nach unten verkrzt sie um 5 Minuten.

Ausschalten des Kochers: Nach Beendigung des Kochens kann man den Kocher durch
Drcken der Tasten EIN/AUS
ausschalten. Die Digitalanzeige

Reinigung und Wartung

Vor dem Reinigen muss man den Stecker des Stromversorgungskabels aus der
Netzsteckdose in der Wand ziehen.

ACHTUNG! Der Kocher darf weder in Wasser noch in keine andere Flssigkeit getaucht
werden!

Die Auenflchen sind mit einem feuchten Tuch (Wasser mit einem Reinigungsmittel) zu
reinigen.

Benutzen Sie zum Reinigen weder aggressive Reinigungsmittel noch Scheuermittel.

Ebenso drfen keine scharfen Gegenstnde, Benzin sowie keine anderen Lsungsmittel
verwendet werden! Das Gert ist nur mit einem feuchten Tuch bzw. bei Bedarf mit einer
milden Reinigungsmittel zu reinigen. Verwenden Sie keine Scheuermittel.
Reinigen Sie die Belftungsffnungen mit einem Staubsauger.
Nach jedem Gebrauch des Induktionskochers ist die Glasplatte zu reinigen. Dadurch wird
einem Anhaften von Verunreinigungen und Rckstnden an die erhitzte Platte vorgebeugt.
Zum tglichen Reinigen des Kochers ist eine spezielles Reinigungsmittel zu verwenden.

Den minimalen Abstand von 10 cm zwischen
dem Lftungsspalt und den Hindernissen in
der Art von Wnden oder anderen Gerten
einhalten. Den Stecker des

Kocher abgekhlt ist. Dann wird der Stecker

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Onjuiste bediening en verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat kan ernstige schade aan
het apparaat en verwonding van personen tot gevolg hebben.
Het apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor het werd
ontworpen. De fabrikant aanvaardt geen enkele aansprakelijkheid voor schade als
gevolg van onjuiste bediening en verkeerd gebruik.
Zorg dat het apparaat en de stekker niet met water of een andere vloeistof in
aanraking komen. Mocht het apparaat onverhoopt in het water vallen, trek dan
onmiddellijk de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat controleren door een
erkend vakman. Niet-naleving hiervan kan levensgevaar opleveren.
Probeer nooit zelf de behuizing van het apparaat te openen.
Steek geen voorwerpen in de behuizing van het apparaat.
Raak de stekker niet met natte of vochtige handen aan.
Controleer stekker en snoer regelmatig op eventuele beschadiging. Indien stekker
of snoer beschadigd is, laat het bij een erkend reparatiebedrijf repareren.
Gebruik het apparaat niet nadat het is gevallen of op andere wijze beschadigd is.
Laat het bij een erkend reparatiebedrijf controleren en zo nodig repareren.
Probeer het apparaat niet zelf te repareren. Dit kan levensgevaar opleveren.
Zorg dat het snoer niet met scherpe of hete voorwerpen in aanraking komt en houd
het uit de buurt van open vuur. Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact wilt trekken, pak
dan altijd de stekker zelf beet en trek nooit aan het snoer.
Zorg dat niemand het snoer (of verlengsnoer) abusievelijk kan lostrekken of erover

Houd het apparaat als u het gebruikt steeds in de gaten.
Kinderen zien de gevaren van onjuist gebruik van elektrische apparaten niet. Laat

Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt en
telkens voordat het wordt schoongemaakt.
Gevaar! Zo lang de stekker in het stopcontact zit, staat het apparaat onder de
netspanning.
Schakel het apparaat uit voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekt.
Draag het apparaat nooit aan het snoer.
Gebruik geen extra hulpmiddelen die niet bij het apparaat zijn meegeleverd.
Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een stopcontact met de op het typeplaatje
aangegeven spanning en frequentie.
Vermijd overbelasting.
Schakel de apparatuur na gebruik uit door de stekker uit het stopcontact te

Let op! Zorg er voor dat het netsnoer niet in aanraking komt met hete voorwerpen

zich in deze lucht vetdeeltjes of waterdamp bevinden kunnen deze stoffen zich
opbouwen in het apparaat, dit kan leiden tot kortsluiting. Reinig ook het vetfilter
regelmatig.

Voorbereiding voor eerste ingebruikname

Controleer of het apparaat beschadigd is. Indien u beschadiging een het apparaat
ziet, neem dan contact op met uw leverancier en gebruik het apparaat niet.
Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
Reinig de machine met handwarm water en een zachte doek.
Plaats het apparaat waterpas op een schoon oppervlak.
Zorg ervoor dat er rondom de machine minstens 15 cm vrij blijft, dit in verband met
de ventilatie van de machine.
Plaats de machine zo dat de stekker te allen tijde bereikbaar is.

Let op! Als het apparaat piept nadat het ingeschakeld is geeft dit aan dat de pan niet
geschikt is voor inductie, of er een storing in het apparaat is. Neem in geval van
twijfel altijd contact op met de leverancier van uw pan.
Wanneer het apparaat in bedrijf is springt het standaard naar de vermogen stand,
met een voorinstelling van 1300 Watt. Deze instelling kan als volgt worden

Il faut laisser au moins 15 cm despace libre autour de la cuisinire pour assurer la
ventilation requise.
Ne pas mettre sur la plaque de la cuisinire aucun objet en mtal tels que, par ex.
couteaux, fourchettes, cuillres, couvercles, film aluminium etc.
Ne pas brancher la cuisinire si sur la plaque est pos un rcipient de cuisson vide cause
dun risque dendommagement grave.

Exploitation de la cuisinire induction

Brancher le cordon dalimentation dans la prise.
