Course Description: Ang kursong ito ay tatalakayin ang kasaysayan ng Pilipinas mula sa mga datos na
makukuha sa archaeology.
Layunin ng kurso
1. Matutuhan ang kasaysayan ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng archaeology
2. Ipaaam kung ano ang mga pambansang kultural na yaman ng Pilipinas
3. Ipaalam sa mga mag-aaral ang mga ibat ibang uri ng artefacts at sites sa Pilipinas
4. Ipakilala ang mga gawain ng Pambansang Museo at UP-ASP
5. Ipagbunyagi ang nasyonalismo sa pamamagitan ng archaeology
6. Ipagmalaki ang Pilipinas dahil sa angking kasaysayan at archaeology nito
Requirements:
1. 3-4 Quizzes (20%)
2. Final exam (20%)
3. Sand Box (20%)
4. Project (20%)
5. Attendance (10%)
6. Others (reaction papers) (10%)
7. Optional (10%)
a. Attendance sa Binalot Talks (kada Miyerkules maliban pag holidays mula 11.30am hanggang
1pm, Seminar Room 2, Albert Hall). Kailangang magpasa ng one-page reaction paper na
nakasulat sa Pilipino (10pts/paper). Ang Binalot reaction papers ay dapat ipasa sa Biyernes
pagkatapos ng Binalot Talk. Hindi ako tumatanggap ng late na papel
b. Optional din ang field trip. May1-2 na field trip sa klaseng ito.
Grading system: Kinakailangang makakuha ang mag-aaral ng hindi baba sa 75% upang makapasa sa klaseng
ito. Hindi ako nagbabago ng final na grade. Wala din akong binibigay ng special assignment para tumaas ang
grado.
Kailangan magsubmit ng index card 3.5 size na may ID photo, pangalan, pangalan ng highschool kung saan
nagtapos.
Ang final exam ay kadalasang ay sa huling araw ng klase.
