The newly updated Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.

“In the course of human events …,” We the people, find that the representative g
overnment which has been in place for quite sometime, is no longer working for l
ife, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They have ceased to form a “ more pe
rfect union,” as each day passes it seems they are trying to form a more perfect
socialist union. Too many of our families, past and present have sacrificed lif
e, limb and property, to form and sustain this Republic.
In the brief history of our great nation, We the People, have endured many life
changing events. Whether it has been due to natural disasters, armed conflicts,
or economic crisis, we have always come through. Sometimes the wiser and other t
imes not so much.
Now we find ourselves in tumultuous times once again. The greed of our governmen
t and of our financial institutions have cut us to the bone one too many times.
The time is now for the words that created this Republic to be spoken and put in
to action once again.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that t
hey are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among the
se are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights,
governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consen
t of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to t
hese ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it,
and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and or
ganizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect th
eir safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed will dictate that governments long es
tablished should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly
all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils
are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they a
re accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invaria
bly the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it
is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and provide new
guards for their future security… Such has been the patient sufferance of these
United States; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter the
ir former systems of governments. The history of the past and present administra
tions and houses of Congress of this Republic, is a history of repeated injuries
and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute t
yranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid cons
tituency.”
They have in many occasions taken steps to threaten to remove or restrict our Co
nstitutional Right to bear arms.
They have refused our pleas in the passing of legislation in regards to, so call
ed stimulus packages. Pursuant to Article 1, Section 9 of the United States Con
stitution: No money can be drawn from the United States Treasury without an act
of Congress stating how it is to be used. All money collected and spent by the g
overnment must be reported in a published account from time to time. Federal Re
serve Chairman and Congress were is our money? How is it being used; specificall
y?
They have failed in complying with Article IV, Section 4, of the United States C
onstitution; The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union, a r
epublican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; a
nd on application of the legislature, or of the executive, against domestic viol
ence.
Over and over they have refused to secure our borders from invasion. Invasion by
illegal aliens armed with disease, drugs and weapons; encroaching on legal citi
zens of the United States. Illegal aliens cause damage to people and their priva
te property. They also burden the healthcare systems, educational systems and ou
r penal institutions; Costing legal United States taxpayers billions of dollars
annually.
The most important words a United States citizen could ever hear are as follows:
“We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, est
ablish justice,
Insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general
welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do
ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

To be a United States citizen is more than just being born here or becoming nat
uralized here. There are responsibilities that come with all those rights and fr
eedoms. We as individuals must participate in this government on all levels, cit
y, county, state, and federal. We are a government,” of the people, by the peopl
e and for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
My dear people this is not a plea for a political party. This is a plea for our
country. This country was founded on the greatest of principles, most of which i
s freedom. Our liberties are being restricted and taken away from all of us one
by one. All under the pretense of our welfare and security.
We have been blessed as a nation, to have a system of government that is suppose
to represent each and every one of us. From the beginning, our government, our
government was designed to be influenced and controlled by us, the people. We, a
s of late have been negligent in our duties.
Before I conclude this document, which has been written for you, the American pe
ople. I would like to use a few quotes and passages from one of our greatest Ame
ricans. He has been quoted many times by our so called Representatives, Senators
and Presidents. It is sad that most of them have not truly read the best of his
ideas. So, I’ am going to list several passages that I feel should be heard at
this time in our history.
“ No, gentlemen; I have not asked the nomination, and I will not now buy it wit
h pledges. If I am nominated and elected, I shall not go into the Presidency as
the tool of this man or that man, or as the property of any factor or clique.”
“ I have been selected to fill an important office for a brief period, and am n
ow, in your eyes, invested with an influence which will soon pass away; but shou
ld my administration prove to be a very wicked one, or what is more probable, a
very foolish one, if you, the people,
are true to yourselves and the Constitution, there is but little harm I can do,
thank God.”
“ I cannot understand why men should be so eager after money. Wealth is simply
a superfluity of what we don’t need.”
“ It is not the qualified voters, but the qualified voters who choose to vote,
that constitute the political power of the State.”
“ It is as much the duty of government to render prompt justice against itself,
in favor of citizens, as it is to administer the same between private individua
ls.”
“ No man is good enough to govern another man without that other’s consent"
“ The world has never had a good definition of the word liberty, and the Americ
an people, just now, are much in want of one. We all declare for liberty; but in
using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liber
ty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of hi
s labor; while with others the same word may mean for some men to do as they ple
ase with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only
different, but incompatible things, called by two different and incompatible na
mes----- liberty and tyranny.”
These are some of my favorite quotes from Abraham Lincoln. I believe that these
words speak to the times at hand, and the sentiment of the American people. As a
veteran, I took an oath, I swore to support and defend the Constitution of the
United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true
faith and allegiance to the same, So help me God. I believe that as Americans we
all need to take this kind of oath. For we are all being attacked by enemies fo
reign and domestic. Our Constitution needs our protection.
A final thought from Abraham Lincoln. ” As I would not be a slave, so I would no
t be a master. This expresses my idea of democracy. Whatever differs from this,
to the extent of the difference is no democracy.”
This is our country and it is time to take it back, from corruption and greed. I
t is time to have the people who truly represent us in the houses of our governm
ent. We must do this one vote at a time in all levels of our government.” And fo
r the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Dev
ine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our
sacred honor.”
