PARTICULAR TOPICS (CUE CARDS)
ABOUT PART TWO OF INTERVIEW__________________________
In the second part of the interview the examiner gives you a card which
tells you what topic you should talk about. Bear the following important
facts in mind:
1. The cue cards will give you some prompts- questions and situationsabout what you should add to your speech.
2. You are given one minute or a bit more to read the cue card and plan
your speech.
3.

You are also given a paper and a pencil to plan what you want to say.
(Jot down some notes and use them while talking about the card)

4. The examiner will tell you when to start and when to finish.
5. The normal time for section two is 2 minutes but you ought to practice
sample cue cards in a way to be able to talk at least for 3 miniutes.
6. You may be asked one or two questions about the card before the
examiner moves on to part three of the interview.

Here is an example for you to look at:

Describe your school life.
You should say:
How long your school day was
What subjects you studied
Who your favorite teachers were
and explain whether or not you think that your education was useful.
