Master EXP422

Version 2
October 2012

Configuration parameters: master EXP422

The following section describes the configuration parameters used both for the internal I/O
modules of the
devices and the
auxiliary units ('C1', 'D1', 'A1' and 'R1' I/O modules).
These I/O modules communicate with the iRTU via EXP422 port (COM4).
They will be designated generically as 'IED EXP422' in this section.
This section also describes the relationship between the configuration parameters of the
application and the ones used in the configuration files (.ccx ) of the
.

in the configuration files of the RTU.

Integer

Indicates whether a signal from an IED must be defined in the RTU database. If
yes, the IED signal must be 'Linked'. That is, this signal will be linked to the iRTU
database, and automatically it will be shown in the 'Digital Inputs' panel of the
iRTU section. Therefore, this signal will be defined in the <digitalIn> section of
the rtu.ccx file, as well as in the <digitalIn> section of the IED_mEXP422.ccx

Descriptive text of the signal.

If the related signal is 'Linked' to the iRTU, this text will also be shown in the
iRTU section of the iConf software, and in the 'T0' parameter of the related signal
in the rtu.ccx file. In that case, the text attribute of the signal can also be
defined and modified from the iRTU section of the iConf application.
If the signal related to the text is linked (sent) to a Control Center, this text can
also be defined and modified from the Control Center section of the iConf.

String
