Objective: Students will be able to greet people and introduce themselves
Description of Object
Activity 1: Teacher played the song and asked students Where can you hear this kind of
music?
Activity 2: Teacher asked students to discuss the following questions:
1. Have you ever been to a bar?
2. If you have. Which bar is your favorite? Why?
3. If you havent. Would you like to go? Why/Why not?
Activity 3: Teacher showed the pictures of some common drinks on the slide and asked
students to do some drills
Activity 4: Teacher showed formal and informal sentences to greet people and introduce
themselves teacher and teaching assistant modeled the dialogue
Activity 5: Teacher showed the dialogue, teacher and teaching assistant practiced, then asked
students Work in pairs and practice the dialogue using your own information with the
music playing as in a bar
Activity 6: Teacher asked the students to talk with their partners in English and find out some
basic information about name, phone number, birthday, job, etc
Activity 7: Teacher showed the dialogue in a bar and modeled

Activity 8: Teacher filled in the blanks using the sentences in the box

Role of Observer: Participant observers
Time: July 25th, 2015
Length of Observation: 20 minutes
Topic: Online relationship
Objective: Students will practice guessing words from context and reading comprehension
Description of Object
Activity 1: - Teacher showed the pictures and asked the students What is the relationship?

Teacher asked students to discuss, then one pair went to the board and discussed

Teacher pointed at the students to ask them to answer the question

Activity 2: -Teacher divided the class into two big groups, delivered to each group separated
pieces of paper with different phrases to fill in the blanks showed in the slide
-Teacher divided the board into two columns and asked each groups discuss and stick the
papers to the board in the correct order.
Activity 3: Teacher showed the True/ False questions on the slide, quickly asked students to
read individually and answer the questions
