Kudos from Parents

Dear Mr. Kennedy, thank you so much for a very thoughtful email! My daughter has very much
enjoyed having you as her math teacher, she said you had made learning math interesting and fun.
She especially loves hearing all your sweet but yet funny personal stories you have been sharing
with the class. :) We hope she will continue to do well throughout and make us all proud. Again,
thank you so much for all that you do sir!!! Best regards!
Mrs. Waller, I made a donation today to your department using the online system as a way of saying
thank you. My daughter had such a great experience playing for the volleyball team this season. It
was well run and organized. There were many great role models in the 8th grades and Mr. Wernecke
is truly one of a kind! I always enjoy watching him interact with the kidsyou can truly tell he loves
what he does! Thank you for not only running the program, but for getting our kiddos to all their
games safely! I hope the donation can be used to allow another child to experience sports at RRMS.

Good communication between the home and the school is an important part of the educational process. Ridge
Road also has a website - http://pages.cms.k12.nc.us/ridgeroad/. The website contains a calendar of events,
staff lists and email addresses, a PTSA link, and information about extracurricular activities. Each quarter, the
grade level teams send home newsletters to keep you informed of what your child is learning. The PTSA also
uploads newsletters on the website under the PTSA link to keep you fully informed of what is happening.
Reminders about school activities are also emailed to parents. To receive reminders from the principal and
PTSA, join the parent email list on the Ridge Road website.
