a small fire. She realised that there was no fire extinguisher in the flat,
but remembered a toy her grandson had left in the bathroom. She had
quickly filled the toy gun with water by which she used to put out
the fire. She had managed to soak herself as too but was remarkably

cheerful after her ordeal. She even made the would-be rescuers a cup of
a tea. The fire-fighters left, but returned an hour or so later, bringing
something for the old lady. It was a brand new fire extinguisher. She was pleased

with the present but rather sadly commented on that it was a long time since
she had had so much fun!
