Question: Is this course for me?
Our course is designed for students and also those who have been out of
school for a while. Our focus is to give a concise, intensive, and structured
review of the important topics needed to pass the exam.

Question: How is your course set up?

Concepts are explained to refresh and give students an understanding
of important exam topics, and many example problems are worked to
reinforce these concepts.
Since the actual examination is mostly problem-solving, numerous
exam-like problems are solved to give students intensive problem-solving
practice to perform well on the examination.

Question: How is Test Masters different from

other courses?
The course coordinator has been teaching the FE/PE courses for over
35 years, and is very well versed with the format of the exam and
what it takes to pass it. Our comprehensive course is focused only on
the exam and helping students pass. Our courses are not college

courses, which are designed to cover mostly theory. Our courses

are designed to help you pass the exams. Therefore, there is a
fundamental difference between our course and a college course.

Question: Who teaches the classes?

Our instructors come from the industry and academia, and are highly
qualified in their specialized fields. They have taught FE/PE courses for
many years at various companies including Bechtel, U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers, KBR, Fluor, Sirrine, Lummus, Peterbilt Motors, Ericsson,
Texas Instruments, Foster Wheeler, Zachery Construction, City of Austin
Electric Utility Department, City of San Antonio and the Department of

Question: What is the make up policy for missed

classes?
If live classes or videos are available for the missed classes, make up will be
allowed at no charge for up to six hours or one day of missed classes. After
six hours or one day, the make up can be done for $20/hour or $95/day of
the missed class if live classes or videos are available.

Question: How does the Guarantee of Passing work?

PE Course: If you attend every class and dont pass,
you can repeat the next course absolutely free. The actual
examination must be taken within nine months after completion of
the course. For environmental engineering PE course no guarantee
of passing applies.

Hybrid FE Course: If you attend every class and view

the required videos and dont pass, you can repeat the next
course absolutely free. To get the guarantee, you must take the
FE actual examination within 90 days of the start of the course.

Combined Hybrid and Online FE Course: If you

attend every class and view the required videos and dont
pass, you can repeat the next course absolutely free. To get
the guarantee for the FE, you must take the actual examination
within 150 days of the start of the course.

Online FE or PE Course: If you view the required

videos and dont pass, you can repeat the online course
absolutely free. To get the guarantee for the FE, you must take
the actual examination within 120 days of the start of the course
and for PE you must take the exam when the next exam is given.

Course Repeat Policy: The free repeat PE Course must be used

for the next course offered after the results of the actual examination
have come in. Subsequent repeats within 18 months will be at 50% of
the regular fee. After 18 months, no discount will be given. No course
is guaranteed to be offered at the previous location or every time the
actual examination is given. To get the free repeat, exam score sheet
from the PE Board or NCEES must be submitted otherwise there will be a
charge of $200. Unless there are changes, no new course material will be
provided. Along with repeating online course, there is an option to also
take the live hybrid FE or PE course at 33% of the course fee. Similarly
those repeating hybrid course or live course have an option to also take
an Online course at 33% of the course fee, which will be waived if no
live course makes at the previous location. Those repeating Combined
Hybrid and Online FE course, can repeat for 90 days at no charge.
Request to retake of a course must be made within 30 days after
having received the result. After that no request for a free repeat will
be considered for any reason. Free repeat has no cash value, it is not
transferable in any way, and it is limited to one time only for the same
course. No repeat for those who have not paid full fee. The free repeat
for FE course will be for 60 days and PE until the next exam date.

Question: What calculator can I use on the exam?
Only certain calculators are approved for the exam. For details, please
visit www.ncees.org. No other calculators are allowed on the

exam.

Question: When is the next exam and how to

register?
The next PE exam is on October 30, 2015. To obtain registration
information, please contact your state board to find out exam
deadlines and eligibility. The PE exam must be selected at the
registration for the exam.

LIVE OR ONLINE FE-CBT COURSE INFORMATION

FE-CBT COURSE INFORMATION
Effective January 2014, the FE exam changed from the pencil-and-paper
administration to Computer-Based-Testing (CBT).
The FE-CBT is given M-F throughout the year in the following months:
January-February, April-May, July-August, and October-November.
No FE exam is administrated during March, June, September, and
December.
The FE-CBT exam is offered in the following seven disciplines: Chemical,
Civil, Electrical/Computer, Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical, and
Other disciplines. Please visit www.ncees.org/cbt for detailed exam
specifications of each discipline.
Test Masters offers FE-CBT courses in Other Disciplines, Civil, Mechanical,
Electrical, and Chemical disciplines. All others are advised to take Other
Disciplines course and exam.

The FE-CBT course will be a combination of live classes

and online videos. The total number of hours (live and
online) for the FE course are 78. The percentage of
live classes will vary from 60% to 80% depending upon
the location, discipline, and the number of engineers
registered for each discipline at that particular location.
The percentage of the live classes for each location and
discipline will be available only after the substantial
registrations for the course has been done which normally
will be by the early registration deadline or ten days before
the start of each course. The course may be postponed
or cancelled if enough registrations are not there, but
all efforts will be made to offer the course. If the course
is cancelled, you will have option to transfer to any other
location or take FE online course. The online courses are
available for Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, and
Other Disciplines.

PE (Environmental)

TOPICS: A minimum of 77-hour Review Course and Workshops

covers selected topics from Traffic Systems, Transportation Systems,
Structural Analysis and Design, Foundations and Retaining Structures,
Geotechnical, Hydraulics, Pumps, Hydrology / Groundwater / Wells,
Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, and Construction, and
Timber/Masonry Design.

TOPICS: This 30-hour review course partially prepares students taking

the PE (Environmental) exam. Students will take selected topics
(Hydraulics, Hydrology / Groundwater / Wells, Pumps, Water and
Wastewater Treatment) from the review course and also workshops
offered for Civil Engineering. This will help to prepare but not

PE (Chemical)
TOPICS: The 51-hour review course prepare for the PE (Chemical)
exam and consists of two parts. Part I is a 30-hour course and taught
with the Mechanical Engineering course. The topics covered in Part I
are Economic Analysis, Fluids, Pumps, Heat Transfer and Exchangers,
Thermodynamics, Power Plants, and Combustion. Part II is an 21hour course of the following Chemical Engineering subjects: Mass
and Energy Balance, Mass Transfer, Chemical Thermodynamics, Plant
Design and Kinetics. Each part is independent of the other. Please

be aware that Part II may not have enough students to make

live course every time, but online course is available.
DATES: The PE (Chemical I) course is a subset of the PE (Mechanical)
course. You will be attending selected topics from the PE (Mechanical)

economic analysis.
FORMAT: The PE (Electrical and Computer) exam consists of three
separate exams divided by subdiscipline. Each subdiscipline is
independent of the other. The three subdiscipline of the exam are Power,
Electrical & Electronics, and Computers. We offer a course only for the

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Question: How do I register for a course?
There are several ways to register: online at our website,
www.testmasters.com/pereg or you can print out the registration
form from our website, fill it out and fax or mail it to our office. Our
fax number is 281-276-7789. You can also call our office at 713529-9752 and register over the phone.

Question: Do you offer group registration

discounts? For a group of 3 or more persons registering by
the early registration deadline there is a $50 discount per person.
Group members must all take either the FE or the PE course, but
not both courses. To get a group discount, the names of group
members and full payment (not just the purchase order) must be
received by the early registration deadline. No group discount
will be given after the early registration deadline. There is no
group discount for online courses, full time students getting 50%
discount, or those repeating courses.

Question: What is the early registration discount

and deadline? The discount is $100. Unless stated otherwise, the
early registration deadline is 10 days before the start of the course. To

get discount, both registration and payment must be received

10 days before the first day of the course. There are no discounts
for FE online courses and anyone not paying full fee.

Question: Do you offer registration discounts

to full-time undergraduate students? Full-time
undergraduate senior students will receive a 50% discount off
the regular fee when taking the EIT/FE review course. No other
discounts will be given. Proof of full-time enrollment status (12+
credit hours) must be submitted with the registration form before
the discount will be given. The student discount is not offered for
the FE online courses or PE course. The student must be a senior at
a university and get discount before joining the course.

Question: What is your refund policy? Three days

before the start of the course, the fee will be fully refunded.
Afterward up to one week, refund will be on a pro-rata basis less
$150 administrative fee upon a written request for a refund.

No refund will be given after one week of the start of the

course. No refund will be given for the classes missed or not
attended prior to our receipt of the written request, which must
be sent to pe@testmasters.com. No other or telephone requests
will be considered. For PE Reference Books there will be a
charge of $200. The PE Reference Books fee is non-refundable.

The free repeat has no cash value. No refund will be given

for not repeating the course. It is not transferable to any
other course or person. No refund for online courses
after videos are issued. No refund for online
course.

REFUND POLICY: Three days before the start of the live course, the fee will be fully refunded. Afterward up to one week, refund will be
on a pro-rata basis less $150 administrative fee upon a written request for a refund. No refund will be given after one week of the start of the
course. No refund will be given for the classes missed or not attended prior to our receipt of the written request, which must be sent only by
email to pe@testmasters.com. For PE Reference Book there will be a charge of $200. The PE Reference Books fee is non-refundable. The free
repeat has no cash value. No refund will be given for not repeating the course. It is not transferable to any other course or person. No refund for
FE course after the videos are issued. No refund for any online course.
COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY: If a course does not meet the minimum enrollment requirement by
the early registration deadline, it may be cancelled and the fees paid will be refunded.
