SNAP Strategy Interview

1. When did you start preparing for SNAP?

Ans : I started preparing for SNAP during October since I had missed out on colleges
the previous year by merely a few marks , I started this by giving a few GK Mocks
online (such as gkedge.com, gktoday) and by appearing and monitoring my
performance in SNAPSHOT a free online Test series that SCMHRD runs each year for
SNAP aspirants.
2. What was your strategy?
Ans : My SNAP strategy was to focus on Logical Reasoning section and maximize my
accuracy and score there . I also tried to brush up my G.K. properly so as to ensure
that the 10 minutes that I dedicate to the section during the exam should award me
maximum marks . I knew that English was my strong section so I attempted most of
the questions in that section as well .
3. Did you also take CAT and XAT?
Ans : Yes , I had appeared in CAT and XAT and had calls from the new IIMs and some
Tier I colleges through them .
4. Did you aim for a 'toppers' score or a decent score would have done for you?
Ans : I had aimed for a toppers score as I badly wanted to do an MBA this year from
the leading B schools . I have a work experience of 3 years and this was my final
attempt at MBA Entrance exams .
5. Now that you are in the college, how is it treating you? Do you think you have
lost or gained for not being in another college?
Ans : I think Life has changed for the better after joining SCMHRD . The MBA
experience here is beyond words. The campus is always abuzz with new activities,
events and competitions where we participate. More importantly, we have so many
committees and clubs on campus that they keep the students engaged and also
enrich the MBA journey. Apart from engineers, there are doctors , architects , navy
officers , accountants and entrepreneurs in our batch and they add their own new
perspectives to the peer learning here at SCMHRD . More importantly due to small
batch size , the opportunities that are available on the offering are available and
accessible to all . This also helps immensely in placements and competitions with
better companies visiting the campus each year. As a brand, SCMHRD continues to
grow each year.

Brief Intro about the Author :Shashank Saurav is an engineer from Techno India , Kolkata . He has 3 years of work
ex in Capegemini and Accenture as a Consultant. He hails from the ancient city of
