Missing Rutgers student found
Hillside police has found a Rutgers student and Hillside native, who went missing on
Saturday. 20-year-old, Brianna A. Thomas, was found in Orange on Monday night at
about 9 p.m., according to police. There is no sign of foul play or criminality involved in
her disappearance and Thomas was brought to University Hospital in Newark for
evaluation. Authorities had been searching for Thomas, last seen Saturday evening in a
dorm room at Rutgers New Brunswick campus, where she was studying with her friend.
Hill side police said Thomass black 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix was also found Sunday on
Highland Avenue, near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue in Orange.

An Essex County resident has been arrested for the killing of a woman in her home last
week, authorities said today. 36-year-old, Roberto Grillo, of Bloomfield is being held on
$2 million bail for the murder of 35-year-old Yolanda Vega. Vega was killed by
strangulation and her body was found in her home. Grillo was arrested on an unrelated
charge on December 6, hours before Vegas body was found and was apprehended on late
December 6 after being found trespassing at the Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery in Linden,
less than a mile from Vegas home. An intensive joint investigation involving the
Homicide Task Force, the Prosecutors Offices High Tech Unit, the Rahway Police
Department, the Linden Police Department, and the Union County Sheriffs Office
Identification Unit resulted in Grillos arrest.

Secret Service Officer Shot
A suspended Secret Service officer was shot and killed in southwest Washington on
Tuesday after making a court appearance in a domestic dispute case. 30-year-old Arthur
Baldwin was shot multiple times in the 4700 block of 1st street, police said Wednesday.

Baldwin was unconscious when police found him and he was later pronounced dead at a
local hospital. Authorities are seeking three men in connection with the shooting and are
offering a $25,000 reward for information on this incident. Baldwin had been assigned to
the Foreign Missions Branch and was placed on administrative leave earlier this year
following a domestic dispute.

Best Buy is selling the 16GB Iphone 6s for $1 on Friday. Buyers just have to sign up for a
two year contract with Verizon or Sprint. Best Buy will also throw in a $200 gift card if
youre also trading in a working Iphone 5. 64GB and 128GB Iphone models are not
included in this offer. Apple sold 48 million Iphones last period, which was 22% more
than it had sold during the same period last year.

Bodies found in van in Mexico


The bodies of two men that were found in a van in Mexicos Sinaloa state are Australian
surfers Dean Lucas and Adam Coleman. Sinaloa Attorney General Marco Antonio
Higuera confirmed in a news conference that the bodies were identified through a DNA
test. Lucas and Coleman, both 33, were on a surfing trip from Canada to Mexico but
failed to arrive to their destination in the city of Guadalajara on November 21. Authorities
have made three arrests but are looking for two men who possibly have connections to
the case. The three suspects were low-level drug dealers who had been robbing motorists
on a road leading south through the city of Navolato. Both men have been missing since
last month.

Air India employee dies by being sucked into plane engine


A Mumbai airport engineer died after being sucked into the engine of an Air India plane.
The incident happened on Wednesday as the Airbus A319 was being towed backward
from the parking area in preparation to tax out. The engineer, Ravi Subramanian, was
standing near the landing gear under the plane as he was supervising the process. Air

India officials declined to offer any further details. The countrys civil aviation regulator
is investigating the engineers death.

Star Wars The Force Awakens breaks record
Star Wars The Force Awakens took in a record breaking $57 million at the U.S. box office
for the preview shows last night. That number broke the record for the biggest preopening in box office history held by Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2,
which made $43.5 million on opening night back in 2011. As of right now the film has
brought in roughly $130 million worldwide since opening overseas on Wednesday.
