As we anticipate celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we wish you a Merry Christmas
and the very best for the New Year. May your year 2016 be filled with the joy and peace of our
Savior.
We are excited to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with our daughters and family in Japan
this year. Nina and Mona arrived on Wednesday, and Christine will be arriving on the 23 rd, with
her husband Eugene. Its been a while since we spent the holidays together as a family so we
are looking forward to enjoying each other and spending quality time together.
We want to say thank you again for your support and prayers throughout the past year. Guiding
and teaching young adults to live a Christian lifestyle, helping non-Christians to say Yes to
Jesus as their Lord and Savior, leading volunteers from North America to the disaster areas in
the northern coasts of Japan, coaching and teaching young adults to prepare themselves to
enter seminary, planning evangelistic events and introducing new ministries to local churches
are some of the ministries that are only possible through your sacrificial giving and endless
prayers. As you give and pray, you play a vital role in helping His kingdom come to a land with
over eight million gods, and 126 million souls without Jesus. Please continue to help the
people walking in darkness to see a great light (Isaiah 9:2)

We realize many people think about Thanksgiving offering in November, and end-of-the-year giving in December, so here is a quick
update about our finances. If you feel led to give, well receive it gratefully. If not, please don't feel burdened and skip this part of our
newsletter.
Japan has more than 126 million non-Christians, one of the most unreached people groups in the world. Japan also has one of the
highest costs of living in the world. This year were facing a big challenge. Were short about $2000/month in regular giving. We
invite you to consider becoming a support partner, giving this Thanksgiving, as well as a year-end gift, and/or helping us connect
with a friend or a church that might be open to partnering with us in developing future leaders for Japan. Most of our support
partners give between $25 and $500 per month, some more and some less. Every gift is thankfully received and brings us closer to
our budget.

We thank you from bottom of hearts for sharing the gospel in Japan. We are able to do
