Custom Reports
Objective
After completing this module you will be able to:
Page | 40
4. Click on Device Configuration worksheet and make sure that the value in Device ID field for LTE
Mobility UE 1 matches Internal Device ID. In this case they match, but otherwise user should
update the value in this field to match Internal Device ID. Then save and close the report.
5. Now go back to WindCatcher Plus application and click on Open Custom Report button in Report
menu. Select LTE Acceptance Report and click Open to generate the report.
Page | 41
6. Once the report is generated, go to UE LTE Acceptance worksheet. This provides a Dashboard View
or Summary View of key LTE KPIs. All of these KPIs are tested against user-settable thresholds for
Pass/Fail.
Page | 42
Mandatory Check: User can select a KPI to be Mandatory/Non mandatory. All Mandatory KPIs
have to pass to get Overall Pass on a cluster [User can define this on Settings Page]
Threshold: Pass/Fail threshold set for the KPI [User can define this on Settings Page]
Target: Minimum percentage of samples that need to meet the threshold requirements [User can
define this on Settings Page]
Total: Total number of samples available for the KPI
Passed: Number of samples that met the threshold
Average: Average value of the KPI computed using all available samples
Meas: Measured percentage samples meeting the threshold requirements
Status: Pass/Fail determined using Meas and Target fields
7. Note that Uplink Application Throughput failed since Measured [84.81%] < Target [90%]. If the
default Thresholds or Targets need a change, user can easily modify them on Settings page.
8. Browse to following location and open LTE Acceptance Report template.
C:\Users\[Local User]\Documents\Xceed Technologies, Inc\CustomReport [For Windows 7]
C:\Documents and Settings\[Local User]\My Documents\Xceed Technologies, Inc\CustomReport [For XP]
9. On Settings page, change the Target for Uplink Application Throughput to 80% and then save the
report template.
10. Now go back to WindCatcher Plus application and generate LTE Acceptance Report once again. Did
your settings change take effect? Did Uplink Application Throughput Pass?
11. This report also provides metric plots for key KPIs such as Serving RSRP, Serving CINR, PDSCH
Throughput etc. You will find these plots on KPI Plots for LTE UE page.
Page | 43
4. Now go back to WindCatcher Plus application and click on Open Custom Report button in Report
