On Thursday morning, January 7th, the Vietnam Communist Partys Security

Committee for the 12th National Congress and the Ministry of Public Security held a
dress rehearsal of security arrangements for the 12th National Congress at the
National Stadium in My Dinh.
The rehearsal was attended by senior party and state officials, representatives of
various ministries, members of the diplomatic corps and 5,000 soldiers and workers.
The rehearsal included arrangements to protect official cars and transit routes to the
congress.

fitted with a turret, which mounts a 14.5-mm heavy machine gun and coaxial 7.62mm machine gun.
