shoulder,hekneeleddownonhisrightkneeandholdhishandsinprayerpositionrespectfully,bow
toBuddhasfeetandthensaid:Blessedone,Inowwishtotalkamethodthatcanaccomplish
everythinginthethreetimes.Onlyhopetheblessedonepermitmyrequestwithcompassion.

Atthattime,theblessedonepraisedandsaid,Sadhu,sadhu,Mahasatva,forthebenefitofall
sentientbeings,ifwishtospeakthissecretdharmatreasure,Iamnowatallearsandallowyouto
speakofyourfreewilltothegeneralpublic.

AfterAvalokitesvaraBodhisattvamentionedhismantra,heturnedtoBuddhaandsaid,
Blessedone,thismantraistheheartoftheLotusTribe().Iwillnowspeakthemethodto
attainSiddhi(accomplishment).Ifonerecitesthismantra8,000timeseverymorninginfrontofmy
imageandthatheoffersvariousflowerstothemandalaandthatherefrainshimselffromtalkingto
others,ifherecitesadditionalnumbersofthismantraandremembersitbyheart,thenhewillbe
extremelycleaverinsixmonthstime.Whateverheseesorhearswillnotbeforgotten.Ifhefurther
washhimselfandbuild3roundaltarsinfrontoftheBuddha:thefirstisfortheBuddha,thesecond
fortheDharmaandthirdfortheSangha(monks).Eachofthealtarsisofferedwithflowersas
prescribed.Ifhethenholdsanincenseburnerandburnsomeincense,thenafterherecitedthe
mantrafor8,000times,allhisserioussinsthatwillenablehimtodropintothehells,4typesof
heavyand5typesseriouscrimesandothersinsshallbepurified.Pleasedontdoubt.Ifonerecites
continuously1,500timesforaconsecutiveof6months,thenhewillachievesiddhi.

Alsoafteronewashedhimself,heshouldsitonaseatmadeofCyperusiriaL()and
recitemantrafor350,000times,thenhewillattainallsiddhi.Inadditionhewillnotsufferfromall
kindsofsickness.IfherecitesthemantrainfrontofAvalokitesvaraBodhisattvafor10,000times,
whateverrighteousthingsheasksshallbegiven.

Alsoonthe8thdayor15thdayinawhitemonth(afterfullmoon),ifonewasheshimselfand
recitethemantrafor8,000times,thenheshallbedevoidofallseriousdisastersandalldemonic
hindrances.

Alsoonthe8thdayor15thdayinawhitemonth,ifonetakesthe8preceptsandrecitethe
mantrafor1,000daily,alltheVinayakaspiritswillnottroubletheperson.

Alsoonthefirstdayofthefirstlunarmonthuntilthe15thday,cleanandofferflowersto
mandalaandrecitesmantrafor35,000timesthenwhateversiddhiorwhateverhewishesshallbe
accomplished.

Alsointhemorning,afterherbalbath,recitemantrafor3,500timesandeveryonewillbeloved
thispersonandanyhelpsthatherequires,peoplewillbegladtohelp.

Also,ifonerecitesthemantrafor10,000timesinfrontoftheBuddha,afterthatfromthe
1stdaytothe14thdaytocompletethe100,000timesthenheshallnotbefacedwithbadthings.

whateverheasksforshallbegranted.Whenhedied,heshallberebornintotheSukhvat

shape,orroundshapewith2to3elbowlengths.Offer8gheelampstothemandala.Recitethe
mantrafor10,000timesfor1month.Donotspeakwithothersdailyforthatmonth.Afterone

month,whateverMahayanasutrashereadshallberemembered.Andthatheshallbeextreme
cleaverandhavetheopportunitytolistentoDharmatalksbyAvalokitesvaraalways.

250,000timesinaSarirastupa.Andmakesumptuousofferingofgheelampswhilesittingonseat
madefromcyperusiriaL().Ifhestartstorecitemantranonstopfromthebeginningofthe
nighttomidnight,thenthebodhisattvashallmaterialiseinfrontofhim.Whenheseesthearrivalof
bodhisattva,hemustimmediatelyrisefromhisseatandmakeofferingswithfullrespect.Afterthat
thebodhisattvawillstarttopreachtohim.Afterlisteningtobodhisattvasdharma,heshallalways
beaccompaniedbythebodhisattvasandreachtheunchanginglandofbodhisattvasuntilhe
becomestheBuddhahimself.

goesstraightintoasea.Andthatherecites100,000timesmantrainfrontofeachstupaallhis

dwellsinwillnotexperienceanynaturaldisasters.

beabletolistentoAvalokitesvarapreachingdharma.Whoeverseesthispersonshallbeliberated
fromallsufferings.

Ifherefrainsfromtalkingandmakeasmanystupasashecouldaddedwithrecitingmantra
350,000timesheshallattainsiddhi.Whateverhetalksshallbecomepermanentdharmaashe
wills.

Ifhemakes3,500stupasandrecitesmantras7timesinfrontofeachstupas,afterthathe
dedicatesthemerittoallsufferingsentientbeings.Andfurthervowsthatallthosewhoareinbad
pathsandnowsufferedfrombadkarmasshallbeliberated.Assuch,thenwhoeverseesthisperson
shallbewillingtobehisservantsandthatthispersonshallberebornintoSukhavatiwhenhedies.

Also,ifapersonstaysinsideastupafor15daysandrecitedunlimitedcountsofmantraand
thathededicatedthemeritstoallsentientbeingswhateverbigwishesheasksforshallbefulfilled.

Ifapersontakes8preceptsandrecites100,000timesofmantrainsilent,heshallaccomplish
theDhyanabhumiSiddhi(theaccomplishmentofmeditation).Andifherecitesthemantraunderthe
feetofAvalokitesvara,thenheshallbebestowedwithallsiddhis.

Ifhegivesrisetopermanentcompassionheartandheusesandalwoodtopaintaroundaltar
asifalotusleaveuntil100,000lotusleavesandrecitesmantrafor3,500timesinfrontofeach

for150,000,thenwhateverhewishesforshallcometrueexceptforsatisfyinghislusts.Ifhe
makesofferingstoAvalokitesvaraandputapieceofincenseintohismouthwhilerecitingthe
mantrafor10,000timesthenwhoeverseesorlistentothispersonshallbehappy.

Also,ifinthemorning,afterwashingoneselfandchangedintonewclothingandthenrecites
themantrafor1,000timesthispersonshallnotbestarved.Wheneverhefeelshungryandnofood
canbefound,thenfoodswillalwaysinabundanceforthisperson.Ifhetakesascoopofwaterat
midnightorinthemorningandsprinklesaroundhisbodyinadditionhefurtherrecitesmantra
severaltimesashewishes,allhisfearsshallleavehim.

Alsoifheempowerswillowwith1,000timesofmantrarecitationsandthenchewthewillow
piecehewillhaveprowessineloquenceandbelovedbyall.

anima(largeIndiantree).Thiswillstopallgalesandheavyrain(thisiscalledtheofferingof
witheringflowers).

Alsowhenacountryisintrouble,thensettheimageofSatyadevatainfrontofthecastle
entrance.Worshipwithallsortsoffragrantflowers,foodandbeveragesthenthedisastersshallbe
evaded.

IfoneofferstheSatyadevatawithwitheringflowersbyfirstrecitingmantrafor8,000times.
Afterthatcovertheflowersontoapatientsheadwhoissufferingfromhighfeverpatient.Atthe
sametime,smokethebodyofthepatient.Thenthehighfevershallberemoved.

Also,ifonelightagheelampinfrontofSatyadevataandrecitesmantrafor8,000times.Take
somelightsmokeandapplyontooneseyeandthiswillremovealleyesicknesses.

Also,ifacountrysuddenlysuffersfrommassivedeathsdisasters,thentheholyimageof
Avalokitesvarashouldbedrawnoneachentrancegatesandthenofferflowersthataregrowninthe
water.Immediatelyinthemiddleofthenight,takesomeShami(WhiteKutch)Treeleaves(canuse
Gojitoreplace)andsmearwithghee.Performhomafor15days.Alldeathlydisastersshallcease.

Iftherearevariousdisasterscausedbypoisonousinsects,thenmakeofferingsinfrontof
Satyadevata.Gotoaclearstreamwithoutcontaminationfrombirds.Thedepthofwatershouldbe
atvaselevel.Pickup1,000Sumanaflowerswhichareplacedontheleft.Afterrecitingmantraonce
andthrowoneSumanaflowerintothestream.Dothatuntiltheflowersareallthrownintothe
stream.Allpoisonousinsectsshallbegone.

Recitemantrafor300,000inastupaorinfrontofBuddha.Afterthatdrawtheimageof
AvalokitesvaraonapieceofsmoothclothwiththeSatyadevataholdinglotusheshouldbe
standingonlotusandhiscolorshouldbeblack.ThisAvalokitesvaraisadornedwithprecious
ornamentsandhishairbunshouldbeupwards.Heshouldbehavingawhiteclothashisshoulder
piece.

Afterthedrawingiscompleted,itshouldbeplacedinsideasarirastupa.Oneshouldfastfor3
daysandpreparesumptuousofferingsinfrontoftheholyimage.UseDita()woodwith

thenheshallattainsiddhiandallhiswishesshallbesatisfactorilyaccomplished.

(adoration)andSila(goodbehavior)medicine.PutthebobbininfrontoftheSatyadevataand

Bodhisattvastandingonalotusthronewiththecolorofsandalwood.Heisadornedwithprecious
itemsandhishairbunisontopofhishead.Hewearslotusthroneandwearsdevagarment.His
handsaremakingprayerposeinafreeandeasybutrespectfulmanner.Aftermakingthedrawing,
oneshouldpreparesumptuousofferingsandrecitemantrafor300,000timesandheshallattainall
thesiddhiinhisheart.

Atthistime,AvalokitesvaraBodhisattvaMahasattvahascompletedhistalkaboutthissubtle
andprofoundsecrets,alltheseniorbodhisattvasinthecongregationstogetherwiththeeightclass
ofbeings()andallVajra()allwereextremelyhappy.TheyprostratedtotheBuddha
andretreated.
