Like being electrified head to toe...

an exhilarating, energized feeling that is

unlike any other experience. Words cannot do it justice. Only happened once to m
e and it (among a few other events) sealed my belief in the divine/supernatural.
I'm on the fence about whether the holy spirit maintains a continual presence w
ithin us though.
It feels as if you have someone walking along side of you. Guiding you in that o
h so soft voice in everything you do. He will remind you of God's promises, he r
eveals himself in your inner voice and as so many have stated, you will have a s
trong inner feeling of God's will for your life.
Well for a Christian there can be like Euphoria for the children of the world ha
te and anger can arise spiritually ! For a christian something like Phantasmagor
ia not unlike a child of the world on Drugs !
Say what you like. My experience was undeniable and unexplainable by anything na
tural. Along with having been supernaturally saved from drowning when I was youn
ger and God having revealed his presence to me decades later, I am utterly convi
nced. My personal subjective experiences may prove nothing to you or anyone else
but they are enough for me. I have a good imagination but I am also a rational
thinker and I know without a doubt when I am imagining something and when I'm no
t. If not for these experiences I would have most likely left my faith a long ti
me ago knowing the shaky ground on which it sits.
Bill, you're not telling him what he wants to know. The feeling is one of comple
te peace and enlightenment. All worries and negativity is gone. All the weight o
f the world is lifted and you realize there's nothing to fear anymore because yo
u know without a shadow of a doubt that He is real.
This is my question to Christians in this group. What does it feel like being po
ssessed by the Holy Spirit? Can you please explain the feeling or tell the story
about the first time the Holy spirit entered you. I promise I will not try to r
efute anything. I just want to know how you all felt in the presence of the Holy
Spirit. Thank you.

Patrick Scott You can attribute the 'holy spirit' to whatever feeling you like,
bc it's purely imaginative. smile emoticon

Rebecca Trujillo It's complete peace. It's a type of joy and peace and love that
's so remarkable, that there literally are no words for it. You're made aware th
at you're not alone, and you know it's god. God is pure love.
