Senior Consultant
Recruited with a mandate to capitalize on the need for IT services in South Africa on behalf of one
of the largest cell phone provider in the region, leading an expansion of the companys core
portfolio of data and voice communication offerings.
Spearheaded an investigation that led to the recovery of costs for services provided by MTN
South Africa to other MTN operating companies within Africa, resulting in YOY gains of 300%.
Served as the architect of the MTN service catalog, contracts, and service levels, launching web
hosting, web development, billing solutions, and other services for the South Africa market;
served as part of the team that led the integration of the MTN business unit into MTN South
Africa IT.

As Vice President and Delivery Project Executive for the MTN Group, restored a relationship of
trust and confidence with a key client, managing a portfolio of applications governing the clients
Finance, Human Resources, Web, and other systems.
Dramatically improved the overall quality of the client experience, working directly with the
Managing Director and one of the founders of MTN Group of South Africa to define customer
expectations, boost customer service, and increase performance to meet SLA terms and
conditions.
Increased the value of the MTN Group contract from $30MM to $60MM, achieving distinction as
the largest application services contract in the IBM Growth Market Unit; expanded the support
team to encompass over 300 professionals and managed over 100 concurrent projects
associated with the Global Business Service for MTN.
2007 to 2009: Application Management Services
Vice President of Global Sourcing, Sao Paulo, Brazil & Buenos Aires, Argentina
Met the challenge of driving demand into two Strategic Application Management Services Global
Delivery Centers in Latin America through the analysis and restructuring of cost models within
Brazil and Argentina.
Successfully positioned the Brazil center as an attractive outsourcing location for North
American clients, while promoting the Argentina center as a resource for outsourced application
management for clients in Southwest Europe; in both cases, surpassed all growth and profit
