TRIMBLE PCS400 PAVING CONTROL SYSTEM

SMOOTHER ROADS UP TO FINISH surface.

MORE PRODUCTIVE AND PRECISE PAVING.

FROM THE CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY AUTHORITY.

Trimble applies advanced positioning technologies to make all

phases of heavy and highway construction more productive and
precise. The addition of the Trimble® PCS400 Paving Control
System reinforces Trimble as the construction technology
authority, with the most comprehensive set of concept to
completion solutions in the industry.
TRIMBLE PCS400 PAVING CONTROL SYSTEM
A NEW STANDARD FOR SMOOTHNESS AND ACCURACY

GRADE AND SLOPE CONTROL Referencing off a surface

FOR ASPHALT PAVERS Trimble’s advanced ST200 Sonic Tracer allows you to follow surfaces
The Trimble PCS400 Paving Control System is a non-contact with much better, contact-free accuracy than the single sensing
paving system that gives you greater flexibility in sensors and units. The ST200 Sonic Tracer uses five sensors and an averaging

The Trimble PCS400 Paving Control System is so accurate that it

can be used for all layers of paving, including finish surface. The
PCS400 system uses an averaging beam to eliminate the need to

the most operator-friendly display.

In addition to the most accurate sensors in the business, the PCS400

system uses the most operator- friendly display in the business. The
large display has an easy-to-understand layout for measuring cross
slope and material thickness. A split screen allows one operator to
control and monitor the left and right side of the screed with one
control box (rather than one operator on each side) allowing the
other operator to perform other tasks. This efficiency of operation
also allows the paver to run faster while maintaining the required
quality levels.

“We absolutely love the PCS400 system. Our averaging beam performs
better than what we had been using. The inspectors are in awe of what the
system can do and have yet to find any deviation on the jobs we have done,
providing us a 100% bonus for rideability.”

Gain the Competitive Edge
Finish the Job Quickly and with Better Results

Trimble’s reputation for quality and durability has been well earned in the toughest
construction conditions. That quality continues in the Trimble PCS400 Paving Control
System. The system’s heavy-duty components and electronics will stand up to any job
conditions. All components have the high IP67 rating to protect against dust and water.
