 Vice-President and co-founder of MIND (Medical Initiative for Nations Developing).
o We solicit donations from hospitals for unused medical equipment, perform repairs and
sterilization if needed, and then provide the equipment to hospitals in the developing world.
 Co-Founder/ Head Programmer of UMedia.
 Guitarist, Keyboardist and Manager of national band Driver Side Impact.
o Negotiated and obtained a record deal with major record label Victory Records.
o Handled $30,000 of funding for recording, merchandising, advertising and tour support.

Experience
Medical image processing and segmentation researcher Spring 2008 to Spring 2010
Case Western Reserve University under Dr. Andrew Rollins

 Developed novel level-set algorithm for automated segmentation of OCT images of beating embryonic hearts.
 Developed software tools for phase unwrapping of OCT doppler data. Research using these tools will be
appearing in an upcoming publication.
 I was invited to present my research at two national conferences (BMES 2009 and MBEC 2010).

Paralysis lab researcher Fall 2007 to Spring 2008


University Hospitals, Cleveland

 Research toward treating paralysis using spinal bypass surgery.


 Administered medicine to lab rats and assisted with surgery.
 Research has lead toward potential treatments to cure some forms of paralysis in humans.

Co-founder and head programmer Fall 2005 to Summer 2006


UMedia

 Software startup venture freshman year with two other students.


 Developed software for dynamic insertion of ads into online radio via IP and user pattern recognition.
 Head developer of algorithm for user pattern recognition.
 Invited to and attended national business competitions in Portland and San Francisco.
